We have gone through a lot and we're still first in the league (albeit barely). Look at our strikers, man. Bendtner is injured and Giroud isn't really on the best of runs we'd want. He had a godly number of assists last season as well. Every game he plays he makes key passes that often lead to chances. Can't help it if he doesn't stand out, he does his job insanely well. His movement off the ball is amazing, his touch is amazing and his passes are amazing. He is subtle, people need to understand that. We don't have Ronaldo or Suarez or anyone of that caliber up front you know. 7 assists for 40million? Highest is 9 with Rooney then lots of people on 6 and less. Ramsey has 6 lol he wasn't 40million. Also Ramsey has more goals than him. Hazard has the higest "chances created" in prem and that was before Hull game as it was the stat they were leading with. He has 49 chances created then. Which was alot more than any other at that time. You have striker problems lol. Id love a striker at our club to have scorn 9 goals by now in the league. Moving on, it going be awesome and definitely worth watching a MLS game soon with all these super players going there xD Guess i gotta pick a team to follow soon ;o Guess i'll choose whoever Lamps goes too xD

![]() So who wants to fathom out why Netherlands are 9th even though their record is quit crazy? Or how Japan aren't even in top 20.

But it's not like we don't. Plus, he should be at 15 goals by now or something. But oh well, I'm not going to blame him or anything, just focus on the present. Like I said, he is subtle and his game revolves around key passes and amazing movement. Mind you they do not always have to be goals and assists. Him joining us raised our morale so much. It may be beating a dead horse but this argument does have credibility - it's just his first season in the England. Many a time I've seen him looking to cross into the center but there is just not a lot of people there. So there is the fact that he has to make small adjustments with the way our team plays. Remember that he has proven himself for Real Madrid and sure he had Ronaldo, Higuain and Benzema up front but he provided those chances. Our team not taking those chances just contributes to the whole "Ozil isn't doing anything" idea. Also, Ramsey hasn't been doing well the past few games he's played. I just hope that form comes back.

Tbh, I don't think we're any better than 9th at this moment - if that. Made a final in 2010 but got 0 points last EC. I'm more surprised at Switzerland getting 8th while never leaving a group phase since 2006. But hey, by now everyone is used to this list being totally useless. USA was ranked 4th in 2006!

Anyways a player like Özil just makrs the whole team run better with his incredible passes. As a player getting the ball precisely where you want it a bit faster makes everything run more snoothly and can be the difference between a goal and a miss. edit: it's also great for other players to know they can give the ball to someone who they know will do something with it. the guy cost Arsenal 50 million how is that letting him go easily lol. There' s a reason why Ronaldo was angry when he left and said Özil was the one who understood him the most.

That's where you're wrong. He hasn't proved himself, else why would they have let him go so easily? He's talented as f***, nobody is going to say you're wrong on this, but a very top tier player isn't just talented, he has mental strength. Özil was criticized by Madrid's fan because he always disappeared in big games. AND he didn't have the pressure of being the biggest star of the team when there was Alonso or Ronaldo around him. He's still young, and he's coached by Wenger (which should be a lot better than Mourinho at this age ) so there's hope. But he's just not (yet) a very top player.

Of course it's legitimate to complain about the fifa rankings, but your association made the worst of it..

Switzerland was the only team that beat Spain 2010 and they were unlucky with the ref against Chile. That game decided that Chile advanced over Switzerland, and the ref gave a bullshit red card early on.

When you're going for short term monetary benefit you shouldn't complain when in the long run things go wrong.

For Brazil he Silva is the best 1v1 defender in the world. Period. Please dont make bs arguements that talk down to a leagues level. He was at Milan to, look at where they are at now. As a neutral you watch and cringe for 5 mins and then your done. Atleast I am. games at the stadium are fun regardless because, well its the event rather than the game.

He was at Milan to, look at where they are at now. Look at the rest of the post, he did nothing special with Milan in the league at the time which was piss poor due to the bribery scandal. He won the league when Juventus just got re promoted. They did nothing in the champions league of any note in those season either. He is an average defender. Until he shows me other wise. Like i said in the confederations cup everyone was shouting about how good David Luiz was, not how "good" Silva had been lol. When that happens, again you know he is not the best. I'll add both the defensive record of Milan and Brazil the "bigger" challenging clubs he had records for were poor as well. Milan record im speaking of was champions league one.

Plus he obviously gets votes from fans of the German national team, and he is an icon in Turkey and other Islamic nations. Arda Turan and Fatih Terim even had him as their #1 in their Ballon d'Or vote, and many other players and coaches had him as #2 or #3 (like Ronaldo). And yeah, he's really fucking good. That helps too. Most of Turkish people see Özil as the new Zidane. He is the best number of 10 current era and he's only 25 yo :3 He will keep improving. I think David Luiz is better than Silva just because of his technique :3 He is the most entertaining defender to watch for me. + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]()

Not that wasn't me praising David Luiz that was me laughing at how he can be the best CB in the world if David Luiz gets all the praise from Confederations cup and Silva got nothing.
