Also that world ranking is a bit bad huh lol. I wouldn't even put Chelsea top 5 at this moment in time ![]() It's like that website has no idea what they are doing. Atletico are good yes, but they have NOT been tested, had a woefully easy Champions League group, have not beaten any big team other than Real Madrid who had ALOT of injuries that game right? They play Barca this weekend, if they give them a good test then maybe they are worthy of a top 10 ranking in the world, but at this moment in time no where near. I would like some stats that show other wise. Don't forget they beat Chelsea in the Super Cup beginning of 2012 to then go on and fall out of Europa League at the RO32 or something? To then finish top 3 in La Liga and claim a Champions league place. They also won a Copa Del Rey in a very one sided game vs Real where i think Courtois performed like a man possessed and the bar saved them from Ronaldo xD I do concede they play very well and are drilled so very well under Simeone but to say they should be considered top 10 in the world is a big statement let alone top 5.

![]() Simeone is awesome, but I feel it's a bit like Mourinho, this kind of coach build some "commando" team and they win with their mindset more than with tactics. It works on the short term but it's exhausting for the players and the coach. I'm not sure how many more games they can win by one goal scored with determination more than domination in the game :s But it would be nice for la Liga to have a different winner for once x)

As far as i understand they take only pure results into account which is somehow correct but obviusly not a "power ranking". The top 5 or something are not the thing but i think nobody would rate FC Basel, Atlético Mineiro, Benfica or Viktoria Plzeň higher that Arsenal, ManC/U or AS Rom.

But yeah their squad is like Liverpool's at the moment, would give anyone a good game with the best 11 on the pitch but would struggle if they had any sort of injury issue. Good team though and if they keep people fit and like you say Willy and lose in say the Copa Del Rey they might be able to cause a few eyebrow raises from people in this years competition.

ManCity, Arsenal, Chelsea... would probably be around 50/50. The rest are weaker IMO.

They have butchers in defense, tireless fullbacks, Moutinho in midfield and with Ronaldo's speed they would give anyone a tough time. But those aren't going to help against teams fielding 10 defenders.

But don't forget Negredo comes from La Liga, we have destroyed him oh so many times xD Yaya is the best midfielder in the PL and is truly scary... he had to go because he wasn't good enough for our midfield lol

Bousquets just plays better for barca since he is a la masia product. The same thing can be said for ibra, he's an amazing player but even the youngster tello fits better in barca than him.

I'd say Busquets is one of the most important players at Barca if anyone is underrated in that team it's him. Also pande let's not forget what truely makes Ronaldo carrying his team against Sweden is the massive pressure there was on those games. Portugal just has to qualify even looking at their team.

and zlatan is also better than every non-messi barcelona striker/forward.

I'm not sure why there wasn't room for him at barcelona, but it is not because they currently have anyone better than him for playing the role he's currently playing for city. and zlatan is also better than every non-messi barcelona striker/forward. You missed the point entirely. It's not about individual worth but how well can they play the barca style, ofc ibra is better than alexis-pedro but he's kinda useless since he can't adapt well to the system as shown in his year in cataluna.
