if man u don't buy a midfielder, and carrick gets injured at any point in the season, they're in huge trouble. often times, i really struggled to understand how man u did so well with such a lack of midfielders. I guess it's down to ferguson's master management. time to see how moyes does also, lol ![]()

Big news broke yesterday that Man Utd are set to be locked in "major" transfer target disccusions. I wonder who it is, im thinking Leighton Baines will be the target/announcement. But with news in the press reporting a £60million bid for Bale, i wonder if it is that. Very interesting, plus wonder if this will open the door to Man Utd accepting a bigger bid for Rooney from Chelsea. Damn shame Wallace can't get his Visa too, he looked great yesterday, so quick and great pace running with the ball, and it looks glued to his feet, but it seems without a Visa he has no chance of staying in England so he has got to go out on loan in Europe.

This is Man Utd bro, they can do whatever they want! They need a signing like that as well, considering Rooney looks off and they haven't get a "massive" world wide star without him, plus shows intent that their is life without Sir Alex and Moyes has pulling power in the transfer market etcetcetc, will be great PR as well as a world class signing.

But If it does happen.. Valencia/Nani - Kagawa - Bale frontline would be sexual. RVP

Valencia/Nani - Kagawa - Bale frontline would be sexual. RVP True, but rationalism in summer transfer window? Please, we're not allowed to do that or the whole time becomes boring ![]() I think the same as you, £60million for Bale is plenty though, and i think Levy would accept that, he likes money in his pocket and he knows Spurs messed up last season not getting champions league football with the money they shelled out. Would be able to buy 3-4 decent signings by letting Bale go for that kind of money, all be it Man Utd become better, but realistically they are not in Uniteds league. They are battling for top 4, top 3 at most, not for the league. 60million in they could replace Bale - Get Benteke - Sign another winger and have money in the pocket for January if things fuck up. Be good for Moyes too, he needs something big to cool the mini storm that is building with this Rooney leaving situation. Needs get back talking positively not negatively.

I guess one of the main reasons is because of all the "plastic" man u fans korea has. the other reason is that, i often disagreed with how man u treated park. i can't say that park ji sung didn't have a good career at man u, but i do think he would have had a better career had he went to chelsea with hiddink. if man u don't buy a midfielder, and carrick gets injured at any point in the season, they're in huge trouble. often times, i really struggled to understand how man u did so well with such a lack of midfielders. One of the things I will not forget is how he was left off the teamsheet in the cl final after having played an instrumental part for the team near the end of the year. I mean, not even on the bench? Plus, I believe it was his second to last year at utd? Where he had an amazing preseason, but fergie bought young, and just forgot about park. Idk some of the things just rubbed me the wrong way. What I really dont like is when people act like Man U gave him this gracious offer to join the team. Park could have gone to other big clubs at that point. Not like Man U were the only ones interested. This isn't the only reason I don't like utd, but idk, just never liked them. Oh yeah, the park evra friendship is awesome ![]()

With Valencia having a terrible season last year, Nani being Nani, and our other wingers being largely unproven, we really do need a proven winger to come in and show them how it's done... but then again, would he even end up playing on the wing since he can basically play anywhere across the sharp end of the midfield..? Yeah RVP is known world wide and is idolized.....Had 1 good season with Arsenal in the prem, United sign him, scores 20goals again and is deemed "world wide star" no i think not. He has no pulling power im affraid. Rooney however does, so does Kagawa in Japan, but United would sell 10million worth in shirts alone if Bale signed ![]()

Can not believe they got 52 million out of him Football transfers can be murky though. There was a lot of doubt on what the actual value of Hulk's transfer to Zenit (although that should come up in Porto's income statement as it's a public company). The owner of Monaco is a Russian oligarch, there may be other things happening in the background and the 60M figure was dealt for public consumption just so that Zenit doesn't lose face.

Just think Rooney is Man Utds top dog in terms of commercial revenue, the reason he is on 250k a week and the reason he is not putting in a transfer request as he wants to be sold and be given the cash he is owed up front when he leaves etc. If United sign Bale, he will become the biggest star in the squad.
