I'm just happy we have stabilized as a top club in europe and or Mr. Mou is back where he belongs, especially the new club policy of bringing in talent when they are young and having them grow with the club, you can have your Cavani's and Falcao's.

Of course Chelsea went a bit "ham" at the start, HOWEVER, since the start of our tenure we have been growing our image so that we can get own stability in terms of revenue to out goings on transfers etcetc. Then 3-4 years ago FFP rules came in and we tried even harder to stick to the rules given to us and the rest of the footballing world, however now Platini seems to be squirming his way out of it as clubs he "likes" are going to be hit the most or have just been taken over etc. He was soon to jump on Man City to say they are going to "look" into the rulings of sponsorship deals from parent companies that own clubs. In other words your owners business can't sponsor your club and chuck in ridiculous money to balance the books. (What PSG are trying to do as well?) If PSG Man City Monaco actually look like they want to do it properly then i have no problem, but at the moment none of the 3 teams are looking to just buy a lot of players for reasonable prices, they are buying few players for over exaggerated prices Monaco has one of the best youth academys' in france, they have history and the previous season they built a balanced team to gain promotion, the only thing they don't have is a home fanbase and sponsors, and we all know that those are things which will likely change this coming season.

Average home attendance in league 2 was somewhere around 4,5k, average attendance during the golden Champions League era was I think 11k

Germany's been fucking awful so far, and I tried really, really hard to be as biased as possible in their favor while watching their games. Games like the last Women's World Cup show us that the women's game has come a long way, but it's still got a ways to go.

The Bundesliga will begin to require players to take blood tests after matches(?). My German isn't very good. I'm kinda surprised that they didn't do this already.

Well Cavani is young and if you look at the list of players PSG bought you will see they buy very young too... Lucas, Veratti, Matuidi, Menez, Pastore, Sirigu. As they are a new team they needed some big names to start their marketing operation I guess, that's why they got Ibra, T Silva, Motta, Lavezzi and Beckhma. But their plan is to get young players + maybe one or two older players to contain them. They are (probably) not following the rules of the FFP and I don't like teams built like this but you don't have a lot of options to create a good team in a short time...

In any case, they're definitely up there ![]() Japan actually has better technical skills than the US, but US outclasses everyone in athleticism and offensive firepower by a lot. Also last world cup France looked to have a very promising team with good technical skills too. Also I would be probably be checking out the Copa Libertadores final but can't find it on TV here.

FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas has signed Argentine midfielder Mauro Díaz, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate, the club announced today. Per league and team policy, terms of the agreement will not be disclosed. “Mauro Diaz is a young prospect who fits the profile FC Dallas was looking to add,” said FC Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo. “We’re excited to see how he will complement an already very talented offensive lineup as we head into the second half of the season with the goal of winning the MLS Cup.” Díaz made his debut for famed Argentine side River Plate as a 17-year-old on Sept. 21, 2008. The attacking midfielder scored three goals in 53 appearances for the Argentine first division team before being loaned to Chilean first division side Unión Española for the 2012 season. Source
