I'm inclined more to agree with evil and sated. Whilst Bale would be excellent addition, having good/proven midfielder is more important in my eyes.

Could get both? You are Man Utd xD
No reason why you cant get Bale - Baines - Feliani/Fabregas all in the same window?

personally i dont want to see baines at man utd. fabregas has said he doesnt want to leave barcelona. bale didnt even go to real madrid, and moyes doesnt make man utd any more attractive than with feguson. the sad truth is we arent THE club to come to anymore T_T

I can't wait til that is true but it's still not imo. Man U is still the biggest name in football and due to the fact that it was achieving its zenith in the late nineties and beyond, there's no doubt that many of the footballers turning pro now will still have looked up to Man U and seen them as the height in their youth, which is I'm sure an important part of the decision making process for many players.

And Bale is the real deal for sure. The guy is definitely going to be an asset for any team and Man U would be able to use him perfectly with their wide-man set up.

And this continuing madness of clubs not buying out Fellaini is insane. The only club which legitimately doesn't require him is Chelsea. Every other club should be desperate to pay the bargain price for a player so dominant and commanding.

I would say Man City doesn't require him as well, Man City doesn't require anyone at this point. Of all the top teams I feel Arsenal could use him the most, but the key issue with Fellaini is his temper.

its a big name, but man utd doesnt like to spend money like other big clubs. the last few seasons have shown that our name value doesnt hold up against the huge pay checks other clubs offer. at least thats how i look at things now

From a Fifa perspective, they work perfectly with Rooney playing behind RVP so in the CF position and RVP in the ST position.

Left and right are taken care of, and Kagawa is a top quality backup / rotation.

I don't think Man U has that pull or money to bring in many of the targets they really want, especially when other big clubs want them. Just look at hazard, Lucas moura, and thiago in like 2 years?

He has poor disciplinary record and has been shown to punch and elbow people on numerous occasions.

if we buy bale zaha will hardly get game time so thats an issue. not to mention that were going to have to sell one of valencia/nani and young. and i wouldnt say we have "talent" in the midfield. anderson has his days, but hes just as inconsistent as the wingers. cleverley needs more game time if he is to be a regular and fletcher still isnt 100% from injury i believe. going on last season, carrick was the only quality midfielder we had and hes over 30 now. if he picks up an injury i think its gg for our midfield. i rkon if we could get fab though, we could pull off having 2 strikers in a old school 4-4-2 against at least a third of the teams in the league. that way rooney would stop complaining about being out of position/not getting game time too.

Zaha won't be competing with Bale if we get him..His competition will be on the Right Wing with Valencia / Young / Nani who all performed poorly last year ... Bale + Kagawa + RVP would be such a sick front 3 with all 3 of them Rotating and every single one having an eye for Goal.

I do worry about the Midfield Problems..We have no cover for carrick and no Stable partner to play with him Consistently(Cleverly HAS to step up big this year)..Our attack may end up carrying us again through the Premier League IF we get Bale but we aren't gonna make far in the CL with our Current Midfield

Thy Shall Die Alone...or emm..something like that.

even if it isnt direct competition with bale, having 4 wingers competing over the right wing will result in less game time for everyone. we need to sell someone to make room for bale and zaha but who will buy young or valencia? nani has potential to leave but young is on a ridiculous salary and valencia isnt exactly attracting clubs either. maybe we will see cleverley step up this season with scholes fully retired. its really only him and anderson competing for that other cm position, unless for some reason we need jones in the midfield

HAhahahahaha trigger the clausule? GL with triggering Messi's brain to move too :D

He's only moving to some argentina team when his (serious) pro football career is over, it's so obvious here it's fun they don't know him at all there.

Messi does not only owe Barcelona all his fame and money, but his actual phisical ability to play football :D The GOAT also has a huge past story deserving of an epic legend lol
