world cup gonna be disappointing for the koreans T_T
|
The ryu Seung woo talks have been put on hold for now. The player is injured and apparently Dortmund offered him like 1/10th of what they offered kagawa in terms of wages in their first deals. Kleague clubs could obviously offer a lot more. Kleague clubs could actually pay him more than what kagawa got in his first deal at Dortmund.

Offensively, we have regulars for European clubs all across the board. Defense will be key, but that is hong's main coaching talent. Just look at the Olympics. If we get a good draw, I really think we will get to the quarter finals or possibly more
I predicted Korea to medal in the 2012 Olympics and I really hope my predictions for the World Cup come true

Contrary to popular assumption Kagawa was already successful in Japan's second AND first division, hence he got like got something like 800000€ a year after the transfer to Dortmund. It's not that much, but more than an unproven 19-year old would get.

Of course it all just adds to speculation, it's great too because it always makes Rooney aware that he is welcome at the club :3
Vilanova on Fabregas "I know he received offers, but he told me expressively he wants to stay"

Yeah, you really can't take that much from articles like these. I mean, they must know that Rooney is a target for the club, and even if he wasn't, they may be friends with him off the pitch. So what are they supposed to say? "No, he's a cunt and I wouldn't want him on my team"?
Regarding the Suarez saga, I hope Arsenal sign him. I think it's insane that people have criticized the club for its penny-pinching for years, and now the same people cry out when the club makes a bid for a player for nearly three times the club record fee.
He'd be a wonderful fit for the team, and the transfer would weaken a top 4 rival. Sure, he can't play the first six games of the season, but they are all against midtable and relegation fodder, except for September 1 against Spurs.

Which teams do Arsenal struggle against the most.....mid table cannon fodder ;P
|
Really? They only got five points (5-2 win over Spurs, 1-1 draws with United and City) from the top five teams last season...
It's obvious that the club needs a big game player. Someone who can take over a game and turn draws into wins. And someone who will hopefully motivate Giroud to convert more chances.

Really? All the top clubs struggled against some of those teams. United lost to Norwich as well, and had to come from behind versus many teams (Southampton, Villa, Reading, Newcastle, etc.). City had that 3-1 loss to Southampton, and had many one goal scraps against those teams you mentioned. Chelsea had that embarrassing home loss to QPR, and come from ahead losses and draws to teams like West Ham, Newcastle, Southampton, and Reading.

that's the thing, loads of the clubs in the prem are actually quality outfits who genuinely threaten their higher ranked opponents. One of the reasons it is the best league...
