look at what happened at our greatest generation 90-94 , we went to usa 94 after beating argentina 0-5 in buenos aires, press said we could win the world cup, we were at a very easy group stage and we failed to even get out of it rofl. players thought they were already champions. its our 3rd world poor education mentality  Same thing happened last game, everyone in colombia thought we were going to rape uruguay hard, after all we had raped them 3-1 at home. and boom 2 stupid mistakes, lack of concentration and we lost 0-2. our feet back on earth. Its funny, because now we have a guaranted spot at least for the play off, and we can lose all coming games and only need 1 point to get to brazil 2014, we will probably lose all remaning games and struggle to tie with paraguay at last game -.- I hope im wrong, if we finished 1st or 2nd in the qualifier, we will be "cabezas de serie"at world cup. I loved Pekermans work so far, he has done great things for colombias national team. But One thing I dont like, sometimes he lacks balls. let me explain, both games that we played to get a draw , we lost. both times he left us with one forward to "control" the game and draw, we lost. happened vs Venezuela and vs Uruguay. When he has an attacking formation we win. ( 1-4 vs chile at santiago) . SO please mr pekerman! have some balls! we dont want a WC 2006 argentina sv germany, you were winning 1-0, and didnt have balls to put messi inn, instead you did lucho gonzales and julio cruz, and we all know what happened.. | ||

I mean, how can you field a player who was still banned for a red card? After something like this has happened 7 or 8 times before in the african qualifiers? If didn't know better, I would think some african football teams are out to gain back the stereotypes that I hoped the 2010 WC would question. I don't know if it would be better to assume they didn't know or didn't care and thought they could get away with it. | ||

Portugal always looks awful in qualification, they look like they don't care but as soon as the real thing comes around we're not a team you're going to want to play against. | ||

We don't have that good of a team. We can't even win our qualification group. Our most probable starting eleven consist of: Rui Patricio João Pereira - Pepe - Bruno Alves - Coentrão Raul Meireles - Miguel Veloso - João Moutinho Ronaldo - Postiga - Nani Hardly impressive | ||

The one that went to the playoff to qualify and get knocked out in the semis ? I think germany spain brazil clearly seem like the tournament favourites, but there's so much luck and random factor involved in winning a world cup, coupled with the fact that there are like 15 countries capable of beating any of these three in a best of one that a final with neither of those three is very possible. | ||
