Croatia (10), Portugal (11), Greece (12) and Sweden (22) making best 4 numbers 2 and France (25), Ukraine (26), Hungary (30) and Iceland (54) forming the other 4 means there'd be a 25% chance!

I feel like France cannot beat any of these teams (except maybe for Greece, but not even sure) in 2 games. But with our luck, we're still going to go to Brazil and get thrown out in Quarters and nothing's gonna change ![]() Tough luck. Most of us don´t get to experience even that.

But our country is one of the most powerful in the World, with a good-sized population, good structures, good economy (compared to others of course), and we have terrible results in football ![]() Fun story : yesterday (or 2 days ago, I almost mix it up with these time zones) there was a documentary on football in France and other European countries. At some point there was the journalist asking some questions about player agents to the director of the FFF (French Football Federation)... She mentionned the agents that were breaking rules and named 2 agents that went to prison for that. He answered something like "Oh yeah him, I know him, he's a good guy/good agent"... How can you expect to progress when your top managers are like this...

Last 8 world cups/euros you won 1 world cup, finished 2nd in one and won a European title, and that's just counting top 4 finishes. I think that's pretty damn awesome. Yeah, last couple of championships haven't been the best but all nations go through their ups and downs, nothing strange about that. Take some pride in your results, can't win 'em all. ![]()

That's not my meaning You took the results from the last 8 tournaments but the actual trend has been going on for the last 3 tournaments. First we are ridiculous in the 2008 groupstage with the worst coach in our history. We keep the same coach for the WC and we have players refusing to train and get kicked out the competition by Mexico, Uruguay and South Africa... We ban these players only to call them back 2 years later and be ridiculous again in the Euro. Now we're doing the WC qualif. with the same retarded players and I'm just hoping for a shock to help us change our thinking, like I actually was 'happy' when Barcelona lost 7-0 and not 1 or 2-0 against Bayern. Because that's the kind of thing that make you think about why you failed. If we qualify for Brazil, somehow pass the group stage and then be eliminated (because we will be eliminated against one of the 20 countries that are better than us currently), then nothing's gonna change. We're going to say "its fiiine we did good enough, lets try again next time maybe it will work!". Now I'm not asking them to win the WC every time! I would be happy if I just managed to like them... Currently I just cannot like the team, the players inside are not good persons and I don't identify myself when I look at that team. If we think it's a generational problem, we are fucked, the kids that are coming are even worse (behavior, not talent-wise)... It's time to build something like Prandelli has been doing with Italy. And sometimes to 'build good' you need to wipe everything and start from scratch.
