The one thing that makes me hesitate is the lack of a squat rack. The company does not have a squat rack due to being a 24 hour gym (less liability on their end) and instead have a smith machine. They do have free weights, so I could do bench, squat, dead, power cleans, etc, but just not the squat using a free bar. I know training with free weights is a lot more effective particularly with the squat, would you say it's worth just not joining a gym for lack of a squat rack?

I just found out they have 1 kg's plates in my gym. They were hidden in some dark corner haha. I'll definitely use those for my OHP.

They have a smith machine for squats, 1 bench and some smith machines. Mainly a lot of cardio equipment, most of the clientel I've seen have been women. Still, there is some weight training equipment, and for 30 bucks its a pretty good deal for 3 months (1 month at the Y is like 50, although their facilities are much nicer)

You could substitute squats for the time being with dumbbell bulgarian split squats and/or smith bulgarian split squats. I'd recommend doing 6-10 reps though instead of 3-5 if you do split squats.

If that isn't TLHF worthy, then I have no reason to live anymore T_T;.

So, day 1 was Squat, Bench, Deadlift On bench I went 45x5x2 65x5x1 80x5x1 On Deadlift I went 45x5x2 65x5x1 85x5x1 105x5x1 125x5x1 135x5x1 On bench I only went with the bar. :/ In high school we used a chair and basically sad down with the weight and then stood up with it, so obviously didn't realy work all the muscles involved in squatting. However, I was shocked at how hard it was to get in the deep squat position with only the bar (I was somewhere in the 200's in high school with whatever we did that passed as squats) I probably could have done more, but my legs felt so odd after squatting, and it was 12:00AM so there wasn't anyone there watching. I don't know if my form is fucked up or not, but it feels realy hard just to do the motion without any weight when I get toward my thighs being horizontal. Deadlift was odd, I have horrible form. Overall, I'm not really sure what my work sets should be, I was just taking a guess and stopping somewhere. Frustrating start. On the upside my running is going better than ever Also, as it turns out there is a free weight squat rack, i was misinformed. So that's good.
