Only Groups D and G seem relatively even, most other groups have one or two clear favourites to advance. Predictions below Group A - Porto , Dynamo Kyiv , PSG , Dinamo Zagreb - group looks weak unless PSG gets their team working very quickly Group B - Arsenal , Schalke ,Olympiacos, Montepelier - another group where only a single team has reasonable chances to advance beyond ro8 (Arsenal), and only if they do really well Group C - Milan , Zenit , Anderlecht , Malaga - two favourites to advance in here, though Zenit hasn't looked too sharp lately Group D - Real Madrid , Man City, Ajax, Dortmund - stacked group, sure, but still two clear favourites - Ajax and BVB sadly aren't on the level (both in player quality and finances) to challenge Real and City. Still, probably the group most likely to have an upset. Group E - Chelsea , Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus,Nordsjælland - Juventus and Chelsea enter this group as clear favourites, but Donetsk could easily pull an upset against either of those Group F - Bayern , Valencia, OSC Lille, Bate - Bayern will probably ace this group, should be a really easy draw for them. If Valencia plays their best, they should easily advance, too. Group G - Barcelona , Benfica , Spartak Moscow , Celtic - Really can't predict the second team to advance beside Barca, maybe the closest group of them all. Group H - Manchester United, Braga, Galatasaray, CFR Cluj - United got a good draw again, but look where it got them last year. The second team to advance will probably be eliminated in the Ro16. Same picks here. But for Group G I think Benfica is a clear favourite to advance after Barcelona. I rate them a class higher than the other 2 teams.

At the moment, Dortmund has to sort out their defensive problems, they didn't look as good defensively this last few weeks as they did last season. They have to work Reus more into their system and Götze needs to be at 100%, so it's good & lucky for them, that they play Ajax first (in Dortmund). I just hope that Dortmund gives Real and ManCity a good run for their money, esp. at home. Overall picks: A Porto & PSG, but I really hope it's gonna be Porto & Kiev. B Can't decide, but I think it's gonna be Arsenal and Schalke. C Zenit & Milan D Real & Dortmund (yeah, one can hope, even though it's most likely gonna be Real&MC) E Chelsea & Juventus hands down F Bayern & Valencia G Barca & Benfica H ManU & Galatasary (There is a German player on Braga? Didn't know that :D )

That group of death is pretty scary though... I predict RM #1 then MC or BVB depending on form of each. Assuming both play well though, Man City will take it. All 3 of them are my favorite clubs in their respective league so I'm pretty disappointed one of them has to leave early ![]()

Both Bayern and Schalke 04 were in a blue group so Dortmund has to go in a red one i think.

As a Milan and Serie A fan, I hope they do not disappoint in Europe. I don't expect them to with the signings they've made. Not to mention they have several players that were in the Italy squad that reached the finals in Euro 2012. Buffon, Barzagli Chiellini, Marchisio, and Pirlo all played major roles in Euro 2012. They also just signed Giovinco (who did very well in Serie A last season) from Parma and Pogba from Man United. Their main problem last season was their inability to turn many opportunities into goals which resulted in a lot of draws (despite winning the league undefeated). Right now their attack will consist of mainly Vucinic, Matri, Giovinco, and if the move is completed, Bendtner. So yeah, I think they will be a threat to many big clubs in UCL but not a favorite to win the whole thing.
