I guess Jogi thinks he is too old (32) for the national team. Poor him, during his youth it was all about Khan in the national team and then Lehmann and then he was too old already I guess with Neuer coming up.
grats bayern. gutted for dortmund. gutted for my lewa any time scorer bet (GOATdogan is amazing but really? i mean kuba before him in any case?), but meh, this muenchen team is hypermegaelite
also sick how good gündogan has become when he came from Nürnberg to replace Sahin he was completely lost as DLP at first and put in some abysmal performances, ran the show today!

You can't disregard Lewandowski either as his action was pathetic and a violent conduct imo. Ribery was definitely one of the key players and things might've/would've turned out differently. Anyway, good job Bayern!
Lewandowski was getting fouled every time the ball came close to him and how many calls did he get? He was probably really pissed off. Still, it was a bad move and I think Klopp told him that later in the match.
Fantastic final. One of the most exciting games I've ever watched. Congrats to Bayern on the Treble (preemptive for next Saturday); this trophy was a long time coming and I've been calling them getting the Treble since day one.
For a large part of that game, Dortmund played better than I've ever seen them. Unfortunately, these past couple years have probably been one-of-a-kind, since every big money club is gutting us dry by buying out our players. I just hope that Bayern's completely dominant form doesn't turn the Bundesliga into the SPL.
robben/mandzu/müller basically all played as false 9 and interchanged a lot großkreutz was supposed to track robben but given that he drifted around all the time he managed to get into good positions all game
IDK what is with that red card on ribery for elbowing lewandowski that u think he should got when its clear that lewandowski made a faul on ribery before when he was pulling him back with his hands.Mandzukic great game he was trying all game long. I was thinking Robben is cursed in finals but he went zero to Hero Borrusia kinda got tired in last 20 minutes and they tried to save the result to go into overtime.

Yeah Ribery was fouled first. It doesn't matter. If he had punched Lewandowski in the face, he would have got a red card, so why not for elbowing him in the face?
I would've hated to see a cl final ruined by that. really didn't look harsh/unmotivated enough to warrant more than a yellow.(ribery's.) lewandowskis towards the end is a clear red tho.
like people losing their tempers for a second during a duel has to be accepted during a cl final, it's the most important game all year for every player and all life for many players. as long as we employ the flawed system of effectively no penalty or match ban for offenses, I don't want to see red cards for minor infractions during the heat of battle.
