The first half was a disaster for MU, but goal-wise it was a miracle... They couldnt manage to make more than 2 passes in a row... Their team was split in 2 and long balls weren't even precise. Then in the second half it seems that Madrid paid for their effort and let MU organize a bit more, but still they couldn't produce a good level of football.

Imo the game was very entertaining but certainly not top level, I don't see RM missing so many things two games in a row, so MU have better to fix their poor defending for the second leg. Evra and Rafael are not the wing backs you can win the CL with :s

Really shaky at times for Dortmund and Man. United but they end up both getting great road results. All 4 games positive for the road team (the group winners).

I continue to feel like Torres is a massive waste of space and money on the Chelsea roster. We could get a number of strikers to fill his position at a significantly lower price and they'd probably do just as well. Was a terrible game today, but we were lucky to come away with a win. Don't think the managing was exactly fantastic, either.
