How about selling the team's best player with no cover at that position, and then not replacing him? Or waiting until the last day of the window to make a serious run at his biggest transfer target? Or not replacing Defoe, who will never be able to play the lone striker role on AVB's team in a million years? You must have noticed that Spurs pocketed a good 10-12 million from this transfer window, same as last summer, and it would have been more had Dawson agreed personal terms with QPR. Levy was also actively shopping Huddlestone and Jenas for loan deals to slash the wage bill further. Also, if you're going to criticize AVB's tactics, feel free to propose a better starting midfield pair than Sandro and Livermore for today's match. Scotty Parker is out, Huddlestone is out of shape having not played for 18 months, and Dembele just signed for the team. | ||

They have all the ball, all the attacks and manage to make EVERY game closer than it should be. I honestly think Real would trash this team Atletico vs Chelsea style, which will be more embarassment for English football >.< Why cant we go back to the days, when English football was about good defending instead of this mass goal stuff xD | ||
