League and CL are two way different things. In the previous season Chelsea won the CL while doing terrible in the national league. Yeah 2 years ago Schalke got into the semis in the CL while finishing 15th(?) out of 18 in the league iirc. | ||

No theres a different, they have played 2 leagues games, 1 super copa espania thing. The game vs Madrid for 60 minutes was worst game i have seen those two teams ever play. Spanish league starts later than the English league, and most of the players minus Alba didn't play in the Olympics so they all had the nice break to recharge their batteries, and Messi had close to 6 weeks off from the end of the season and he was playing poor. They dont see mto have any replacements for Iniesta or Xavi yet which is a bit of a bad sign too. I think we might start to see Barca fall below their REAL high standards, and hey that still might be enough to win La Liga and the Champions League...but still it could the begining of a transition peroid. Xavi - 32 Puyol - 34 Arguably there best defensive and offensive (playmaker) players and they are going the wrong way of 30 (hense xavi was on the bench today for a rest as he cant be playing 3 games in 7 days no more) | ||
