Lol xD I Suggest you try the training Steveling, it isn't for beginners and it brings u up to speed with most of the concepts. The controls are your feeling, i think most people prefer semi assisted passing and shooting.

I'd go with the standard options for the first time (which means full help/partial help on most settings iirc). Then turn on/off more as you progress (You are going to see what you eventually need). And like Pandemona said, there is a build in training, try that stuff at the beginning! Those crazy dribbles are fun to watch, but hard to learn. Basically it's a combination of (XBOX-controller, standard settings) LT and the right analog stick most of the time. What the player can do depends on the stars he has in "special moves" or something like that. I don't use them much personally and try to finish my oppent of with standard play.

Shouldn't Brendan Rodgers get sacked considering Liverpool won't be in Europe next season?

Pretty sure he is happy they won't get in Europe. He has said in an interview i just read on SkySports that he is targeting a top 4 finish next season, even though he is 10 points or so off the pace. Bless him he can dream

I never use manual for shots or passes, too much hassle for passes and it doesn't really help for shots. Dribbles are easy, just learn a few and then expand, it's all down to practice and repeating attempts. What's really important in dribbling, much more than specific skills, is learning how to control the ball with LT, and use RT and flicking the right analog stick to change pace. You also need to play defence and control your players tactically by using L bumper, using LT all the time to change direction. Once you have that you can pretty much get to division 1 without any other skills.
If you want something to start off with skill wise, I recommend getting used to holding LT, then holding shoot but immediately pressing pass afterwards. It does a set of skill moves depending on the direction you hold and the star skill of your player. If you do that while running forward and hold forward, any player with 3 or more stars will do this really useful 'lagging dribble' type thing, which bamboozles a lot of players.

Ok, will do that. How come the AI obliterates me but in my first online game I almost got a 3-3, lost 2-4 in the end, lol. As a matter of fact I haven't scored against the AI even once, lol. Was so happy with my first goal.

Liverpool since Coutinho & Sturridge joined are a hundred times better than at the start of the season. A few more signings of that impact and there will be an outside chance. I have faith in Rodgers.

The AI is way way harder to beat, in general, than humans actually. At a high difficulty setting, it's completely unfakeable, makes no mistakes, and keeps possession of the ball unnaturally well. I have to say that I think I learned a few useful tricks from playing the CPU but cutting your teeth in for example ultimate team, working through the division ranks, is the best.

PSG Reject Approach from Real Madrid for Manager Carlo AncelottiParis St Germain president Nasser al-Khelaifi says the club have rejected an approach from Real Madrid for the services of their title-winning coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The news is the clearest indication yet that Jose Mourinho will be departing Real Madrid this summer. Al-Khelaifi confirmed: "They (Real) came and I discussed it with them. Carlo has got a contract with us for one more year...for me, he's here next year. "He's a fantastic guy and I'm sure he'll respect his contract." The Qatari businessman says Real Madrid had contacted him last week to ask about Ancelotti but were rebuffed. "A few days ago, the general manager of Real Madrid (Jose Angel Sanchez) contacted me to talk to (Ancelotti). "Very quickly, I told them: 'If you want to have Carlo, you need to know that he has a year left on his contract, so please respect the contract. "We respect all clubs, we expect the same in return. Today we do not have the same stature as Real Madrid, but we do deserve the same respect'. "He apologised and told me he had thought Ancelotti's contract was expiring but I told him that was wrong and that Carlo has another year with us. He told me they would take that into account."

FA Youth Cup Final Second Leg coming up, Chelsea v Norwich. Norwich won the first leg at Carrow Road 1-0.
Also coming up in a few minutes is the second leg of the other Championship semi-final, Brighton v Crystal Palace. The first leg ended 0-0 at Selhurst Park, so anything can happen.

Would love to see Brighton in the PL, they built that nice stadium and everything so they probably need the money
|
Brighton certainly would be experiencing a fairy tale to get into the prem. The other teams have more pedigree but, as a Chelsea fan, I can't help but support them and Watford. I have reasons for wanting either to progress. I lived in Brighton for 4 years when I studied there, but my gf said she would support Watford if they make it to the prem so I kind of want that to happen to. And Zola is the bigger hero than Poyet but Brighton have put together a nice team with people like LuaLua and Bridcutt.

I'd like to see Brighton in the PL because they play pretty football. But I'm cheering for Watford because how can you not after that finish yesterday?
Halftime in the FA Youth Cup and Norwich are up 2-1, 3-1 on aggregate, and Brighton and Palace remain scoreless.
What a chance for Palace on the break! Hopefully that doesn't come back to haunt them.
Ashley Barnes comes on for Brighton and hits the crossbar in his first minute! Then he hits a header from the resulting corner and it's cleared off the line by Palace! This game is getting intense.

WILFRIED ZAHA SCORES A DIVING HEADER TO GIVE PALACE THE LEAD! 1-0 at 69 minutes
|
wow congrats to Zaha! He was looking shit all game. Pretty obvious foul in the box from hammond (I think it was him?), now karma is on Palace's side. I wonder if Brighton can work their way back or is the dream over?!
Hahaha Zola in the stands with Robbie Di Matteo :D, man wish I still lived in Brighton I might have got to meet them and Poyet xD
|
Not sure if this is an updated standing.

Wilfried Zaha has a brace! Palace are going to Wembley!
What a turn inside the box and nice shot.
