And Olympiakos just won the bball champions league for the 2nd consecutive time. We crushed RM 100-88. As someone who doesn't really follow bball I can only say why couldn't we have this kind of talent in football, damn. xD

Most importantly he can score from everywhere.
As a united fan, although he has good vision ect, his short passing is really sloppy for a good player. He would really frustrate his fellow players in that regard, and its what holds him back from being brilliant as a midfielder.

Anyway, that cunt got what he wanted, but now he doesn't have Sir Alex to hug for approval anymore. Maybe Arsenal will wave to him when they pass United by
Check out the intense end of the first semi final from the Championship playoffs. Dramatic stuff.
So is Mancini finally being replaced at ManCity? To think he had the audacity to complain that he did not get van Persie when he already had Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko and Balotelli ^^

because all the good Europeans play in the NBA...
Well some of the best go to the nba but some don't. They either don't want such a big change in their life(plus they get paid much better in europe than rookies in the nba) or they don't cope well with the limited time rookies get in their 1st year and come back(like spanoulis, whose contract rockets renewed but preferred to come back to europe). Another example is Papaloukas whom many teams(lakers, heat) basically begged to join but he didn't want to lose his millions, lol.
In terms of football, think of it as if the south americans paid more money than europe except to the very top 20/30 players. How many brazilians and argentinians would choose to leave their easy earned huge salary to come to europe for a much smaller salary until they'd proven their worth?
You can see that reflected in the nearly a decade of failures of the usa team in national competitions(greece, lithuania, argentina and spain eliminated them in multiple world championships and olympics alike). And in most of these matches they had a star studded team.

yeah, that was one of my favourite moments in english football in recent memory
i feel like the championship playoffs are the closest thing we get(domestically, at least) to the atmosphere and importance of fa cup semi finals and finals of yesteryear, even moreso than the current fa cup.

Such an epic finish but wtf was Leicester doing -___-? They were ahead on away goal rule, yeah? Why did they have five guys around the box watching the penalty?
They should've parked the bus at the back in case he did miss instead of conceding the eventual counter attack in open play. So much fail but epic nonetheless.
