Actually missed that, shame there was such an incident. Anyway In the end Wigan gave it away in the final minutes and nearly ended up losing the game as well. Just not getting the results in the end.

Talk about a B-team from BVB against Düsseldorf.
In other, more interesting Bundsliga news, BVB and Bayern face off next matchday at the Signal Iduna Park. Could potentially be a preview of the CL finals, so should be interesting to see what happens.

well, can't compare a normal bundesliga game and cl finals. bayern are 23 points ahead right now, so it's probably just about the prestige, and about the fans.

anyone got livestream with BvB vs Fortuna Düsseldorf?

Messi doing some magic again :D What a goal.

Messi dependia is being proven time and time again these weeks :x.

Holy shit, that's a career highlight goal by messi. If he's 100% midweek and if they allow us to trade a couple of defenders for some new ones right now we have a chance.

Yea I think they've even convinced themselves they are a one man team, atleast thats what it looks like at times.
Somethings gotta give. Hopefully its positive.

Augsburg are kinda pulling a Wigan too, but their remaining schedule is Freiburg (away), Bayern (away), and Furth (home). Ouch.
Also gotta love how Alan Pardew criticizes Wenger for having too many foreign players, then comes out with 7 French players in his starting 11...

It's the only drawback of playing with the GOAT in your team. The other players become too depended on him. Fortunately it's messi, so he performs well 8 out of 10 games but when he's not the others underperform. It's just a psychological thing imo, they need a coach who can fix that. Also 2 defenders, lol.
With the coming of Neymar next year, they just need someone to replace villa. Falcao would be awesome I think. Add 2 good defenders and suddenly you can free mascherano and fabregas from their make believe positions(cb and false 9 respectively) and put them in midfield and have them beast around.

what if RVP was injured this season,
what if Lewi was injured this season,
what if Mata was injured this season.
what if Ronaldo was injured this season
what if Falcao was injured this season
what iff...
we arent talking about what ifs. These are stupid questions as usual..
Its a bit of a conundrum because when he is around he takes to much responsibility and because hes so good everyone has become comfortable in a support role. Villa not getting minutes doesnt help. But really Tello and Pedro are pre molded out of La Masia to support Messi rathar than out and out scorers it seems like.
So getting anything going with a world class striker when Messi is playing down the middle is really difficult to pull of. Any striker they get will fall into an issue similar to the one Villa is in.
There are a few a players who while strikers tended to spend a fair bit of time on the flanks and are still really good goalscorers Henry in particular spent alot of time on the left. But players like that are few and far between.
Alexis was supposed to help that hes fizzled in and out a bit.
Then ofcourse theres the issue that the way they play if you have off days and lose the ball easy or if the other team is also world class the high risk half pitch press will get mauled. But thats just the way they play so no changing that.
They need defenders, badly, Thiago Silva got away, I like Hummels alot personally but I cant really think of any great fits and they are just so abysmally staffed with decent defenders if Puyol isnt around to cover for Shakiras boy toy who's become somewhat inconsistent in the past couple of years.

Come on Chelsea! Important game for the race for Champions league kicks off in an hour. Chelsea vs Swansea, hopefully we get an early goal as i can't see Swansea being up for the game due to having nothing to play for! We need this win as Spurs dropped points and possibly Arsenal will be dropping points vs Mancs later.

Feyenoord playing their best Football when the league is no longer in our reach lol. Well at least we can still finish second again!

Reading and QPR both confirmed for relegation after a terrible match that ended in a draw.
