I wanna know why this team is not favored to qualify against Barcelona.

To put it simply.. Because it's Barcelona.

History of choking in big games?

Might also be intentional, to get more people to bet.

Bayern is good but simply barca is better. No other team has iniesta-xavi-fabregas and I'm not even counting messi, which as we learned from the PSG series he is a team by himself.
I know you guys wanna believe that bayern is on top atm cause they play good football but as long as the current core of barca is not over 30 years old they will always be the best a priori.
They will always be the favorites, in every league or competition.

Having said that, they need to play to their maximum to get away with a win from munchen.

I agree with you that Barca is always the favourite, but I wouldn't say Fabregas is one of the main reasons.

Barcelona lost 0-2 in Milan and they couldn't beat PSG in either games. They're not untouchable. To consider them "favorites" going into Tuesday is pretty foolish. That is going to be a very even match.
A sound mind in a sound body, is a short, but full description of a happy state in this World: he that has these two, has little more to wish for; and he that wants either of them, will be little the better for anything else.

'Arry says that they lost Taarabt and Townsend to injury and so they were "short of quality". boy, are they in trouble if those are their "quality" players.

Well that ship has sailed long ago, and they will look a lot different in Championship.

And Bayern lost to Belarussian powerhouse BATE Borisov, surely Bayern can't be favorites either.

Elimination stages are different thing and i can say bayern is for me clear favorite here cuse of their all season of good perfomances.
They will miss Mandzukic tonight but hope Gomez shows to the occasion.

Well to be fair we "beat" PSG one game, that last goal by Ibra was so much offside

If Heynkes sticks to his principles Pizzaro will start.
It's no coincidence Bayern bought two strikers while they have "worldclass" Gomez. (Heynkes knows Gomez isnt good enough for modern football)

Hasn't looked like that in the past couple of high level matches, at least when you play against Madrid I always think Madrid is going to dominate after the past couple of matches, when before I always considered Barca the favorite. Bayern is playing amazingly right now. I don't think anyone will consider it a shock if they get through, it's a pretty level tie imo :o.

There's a huge difference in Barca with Messi and without. That showed in the PSG games. First half in the first game, Messi scored and had an overall impact in the game, didn't play second half and the difference is huge. Second game, he got on 60th minute, we all know what happened.

Difference is easily like 40% or w/e. I wouldn't put much emphasis on their games against PSG. I expect Messi to play both legs in the upcoming tie.

I would say the influence that Ronaldo has on RM approaches a similar number as Messi.

I agree with the fanboys that Barca have to be favoured because they do just have too much individual firepower. However, as a team Bayern has been looking rampant and this is probably as close to a 50:50 match as you'll get. Bayern are on the warpath after being denied in their own stadium last year by the greatest team in history.

OH MY what an INCREDIBLE goal from Man City v Tottenham. Carlos Tevez is insanely talented, just such a nice team goal and a fantastic finish from Nasri.

All barça "fanboys" I know (me included) agree Bayern is the fav, easily.

Iniesta might seem to disagree, because he is a bamf.

Kompany and Zabaleta rooted to the ground, looking like idiots as Dempsey pokes in the equaliser.

2-1 SPURS! What a strike from Defoe!
