In this Wigan Newcastle game, terrible challenge from McManaman. Wasn't given anything but should have been a straight red. Terrible, stupid challenge. He should be banned for a season imo. | ||

It has everything that merits a red. Both feet leave the ground, studs up, and he doesn't even come close to the ball. He could have ended Haidara's career with that thuggish challenge. The referee apologised to say he missed it [the tackle]. He didn't explain why though Well thats the first step to FA taking action. Damn it was Mark Halsey as well, i like that ref, but i see him getting a telling off for missing that. Ouch. | ||
