Liverpool Echo claim Inter Milan's Philippe Coutinho will soon be signing for Brendan Rodgers.

An interesting line from the Daily Mail suggests that QPR could make a shock move for Florent Malouda - who is yet to feature for Chelsea this term.

I have to agree here with you. Probably just some attempt of sensationalistic journalism, but if it happens, off they go.

SkyBet have suspended betting on Wilfred Zaha's next club being Manchester United after significant bets being made in the last few hours!
Looks like united have a new signing!
Speaking of Man United..Lets lol at the Fergie comments from yesterday's game;
"The stand-side linesman never gave us a thing all day," Ferguson told Sky Sports. "For me, it was a poor performance by him."
"Why he never saw the penalty kick on Wayne Rooney and some of the other decisions..."
"I think he had a shocking game today. I'm disappointed in his performance, I really am. I think he had a bad game."
"We remember him well from the Chelsea game (in 2010) when (Didier) Drogba was three yards offside and he gave him onside."
"I think he had a shocking game today. I'm disappointed in his performance, I really am. I think he had a bad game"

can't believe the fact that Wesley Sneijder will be settled down in Turkey , was kinda expecting Fergie to sign him up since they were quite keen on him couple seasons ago.

No, I shamelessly lifted it from another forum :3.
Also, grabbed this... interesting? dance from Grant Wahl's twitter:
That's Congo DR's goalkeeper.

The African Nations Cup brings back memories. Too bad ESPN turns down the volume on the crowd so much you can barely hear the vuvuzelas

I hear (haven't been watching myself) that his performances have decreased have declined alot from his highs in 2010. That plus his high wage packet would make him unattractive to many teams.

At 28 though, you gotta think it might have been down to not enjoying his football life, being at Inter when he clearly didn't want to be. I'm sure a gamble of a cheap transfer deal and work out a wage packet that suited both parties would of been good.
Pretty sure Man Utd could of offered him 80k-100k wages to play for them and be adored by Man Utd fans straight away.

Sneijder is the most overrated player I've ever seen (although apparently not by the main European teams I guess) and seems like a real team killer. Not surprised no one wanted him enough.

Yeah, a overrated player who mostly carried his team in champions league and World cup? Sorry, but if he is overrated, which player isn't? lol

One hit wonder, and having that one great season inflated his ego so much that he kills his teams now cause he thinks he's super good and should be having the ball all the time and taking tons of shots. After that one season, Inter fell apart and Netherlands fell apart.

'Overrated' is just not the good word to describe him. He has huge talent but isn't up to regular competition it seems. He did one or two wonderful seasons and that was it. I remember when Inter won the CL against Bayern and everyone was making fun of Real Madrid for the poor decision of getting rid of Robben, Sneijder and Van der Vaart. Seems like they were right in the end x)

Why? Real has won one cup and one championship since then lol and zero CL finals. Sneijder won a treble and robben lots of titles too plus two CL finals

Real Madrids poor decision wasnt letting them go. It was getting them and using them like shit in the first place. It is one of those graveyards for alot of talent after all.
Sneijder hasnt shown much outside that one year, and tbh he was the best player in the world (on performance) that year no question. So you have to have something to be that good, nut if hes being sold for so little and this is how its going then clearly something is wrong.
Also when you say what those players have achieved its not like they went and did it by themselves. They were integral parts though no question. But they were equally absent sometimes.

QPR what the fuck! Your other signings aren't even that bad but then you act like the dumpster for Chelsea.

Maybe I missed out, but didn't Malouda have a really good season and then disappear due to changes in managers? I don't see why anybody would be up in arms about a team like QPR acquiring him. He wasn't an awful player.

Malouda was one of the best players under Hiddink/Ancelotti, Chelsea fans just like to forget that.

Malouda was one of the best players under Hiddink/Ancelotti, Chelsea fans just like to forget that. He played very well in the 09/10 season and started the 10/11 season quite nicely but kind of tailed off as the season progressed (then again, the entire squad kind of did so as well). He was essentially phased out along with Anelka and Alex with the new signings (especially because of Mata) under the new managers and didn't play particularly well in his limited appearances last season.
