Well... Abramovich and Akhmetov are good friends, hope it'll motivate Shakhtar. Guess we need another miracle to help us in CL lol
I was wondering why no one had brought it up, it was downright disgusting. Regardless of what the outcome would be without this goal. Screw you, Adriano.
wow that's probably the worst case of unsportsmanlike behavior I've ever seen - at least if you disregard situations where the offending team voluntarily conceded an equalizing goal.
three huge blunders here; adriano being an asshole, referee not ordering a re-drop, and shatkhar coach not telling his team to concede a goal after. I guess there's not really any precedent and I'd assume hands are tied and that this is thus impossible, but I'd argue that this deserves post-match punishment just like, if not even more so, than other incidents of cheating or crazy behavior.

Wow. I actually had no idea, that is absolutely disgusting. Surely he'll receive a punishment? UEFA need to make a statement or else football is going to sink even lower
Dafuq was that goal. Don't think I've ever seen something like it.
Regarding Chelsea's defence: I haven't seen too many games of theirs this season, but I always thought David Luiz was a shitty central defender, and it seems like people agree. Couldn't RDM just move Ivanovic into the middle and play Azpiculeta on the right?
I actually remember Kanu doing something similar for Arsenal in a FA Cup match vs Sheffield Utd. That was ages ago though. I think Arsenal offered a rematch though I don't remember if Utd agreed to one.

was actually kanu+overmars involved in that one, so in one way it was even worse cuz it wasn't just one player.
Oh yeah, it was Marc who actually put the ball in the net. When I saw that live I was half laughing and half disgusted. Nice to know it was replayed.
The sad thing about the Shaktar goal against FC Nordsjælland was how the danish captain actually talked to the ukrainian agreeing Nordsjælland could just walk up and get a "free" goal and the whole incident would be forgotten - yet some of the ukranians didn't accept this and went on to defend.
I have never seen such unsportsmanlike conduct... Regardless of the result I hope someone brings this up with UEFA somehow. I don't know what to do - but breaking fairplay in football is horrible... Just horrible... Especially with FIFA doing everything they can for "Respect" and "Fairplay"... And I somehow find it even worse considering it's a non-white player - one of the guys FIFA actually wants to defend with all their campaigns. I don't know if I'm out of order stating this

Its not just David Luiz,
defending is significantly harder when you have a a bunch of Oscars, Mata's and Hazards who dont really enjoy defending or track back.
It takes alot of getting used to.
Especially when your cover is a stone faced steam engine and Mikel.
Even with JT they would struggle in Europe. Just not this badly.
Alot easier to defend your whole team is helping you do it. Not so much when your trying to score goals.
David luiz was arguably our best defender last night. People scape goat him. When NONE OF THE FORWARD players track back and leave the defence isolated over and over it makes anyone look bad. Luiz just takes the bloody brunt of it. Ivanovic was getting hammered last night but apparently he should take his place? Really?
Guy is captain of brazil, he isn't a shitty defender. He just is the guy people want to blame for the goals being conceded.
So glad Juve just steamrolled Chelsea, Chelsea had it coming.

I agree. Bayern's game improved a lot when Ribery and Robben learned to track back.
You forget to realise that the majority of mistakes come from our "defenders" being told it's ok to run 30yards with the ball and fall over and leave HUGE holes in the back. Cahill came out the other day in his matchday notes saying "i love how we are allowed to play from the back and encourage to walk it out from the back" in other words RDM is saying, we need to start from the back. Which CLEARLY is not working as 90% of the time Luiz runs and falls over and gives the ball away, or they make a silly 30yard pass to no one and we get countered.
We need to stop the silly passing from the back at this silly level, it needs to be passed into mikel/rambo straight away and then they start up the attack like 2 holding midfielders should do!
Iva is a better CB than a RB by a million miles, he can't cross a ball nor take on a player and a speedy wide man causes hassle for him, him at CB is much better. Azpillicueta is such a talent, he is comfertable on the ball and got some nice pace, i would like to see him as RB more and more.
The team i would like to see is; Cech Azpillicueta Iva(JT when fit) Cahill A.Cole Luiz Rambo Mata Oscar Hazard a striker.......
But RDM all he does is the same stuff week in week out, nothing changes. That will cost him his job if he doesn't pull some miracles...
