I think this game still has more goals in it for both sides though.
Edit: as I say that Bale scores.
Well, I get to use this for a while longer: 5pur2.

4 points from 12 games, lost at home to the second worst team in the league.

1. Torres either needs to be "coached" (what managers should do no?) on what he is doing wrong/right and improve on the things he is doing wrong 2. Sturridge needs to be played outwide if your going to play him, not as a number 9 3. Chelsea cannot defend, and they need (again) to be "coached" on how to defend first, rather than try and just outscore teams (which is kinda hard without a striker) 4. David Luiz is not a CB, everyone but RDM see's this and writes about it etcetcetc 5. If we do not get Falcao in January, we are going to be struggling to finish in the top 4 again. 6. RDM will be out by January if he fails to get us stable 3rd and through to champs league knock out rounds. Pep will get the job middle of January if this crap keeps happening. /rant off I guess it could be worst...i could be a QPR fan

At least they buy successfully and win things. QPR might as well just flush the money down the toilet.

His contract doesn't end this year, so they can get just as much money for him in the summer, while also keeping his services for an extra half-season and hopefully qualifying for the CL. Plus, they need to give Man City time to offload Balotelli and maybe Dzeko or Tevez, in order to spark a Chelsea-City bidding war.

Lol you missing fact that the deal would involve Torres going the other way. Your also missing the point of Atletico are in serious money problems and have yet to even pay Porto the money they owe for Falcao in the first place. Im pretty confident that if Chelsea don't get back on track quickly, that Pep and Falcao will be in Chelsea by the end of January

Surprised to see Norwich kill United at home. Good result for them. And of course really happy with the North London Derby win against Spurs, plus Giroud scoring consistently makes me jump for joy.

No one goes into Carrow Road and wins.

Im pretty confident that if Chelsea don't get back on track quickly, that Pep and Falcao will be in Chelsea by the end of January Didn't know that. Apparently Atletico owe Porto another £15m, quite a lot of money and if they don't pay the money Atletico will be excluded out of next seasons champions league. Sounds like Atletico should really be looking to sell Falcao despite his exceptional performances. True WBA are a good side and their league position shows it, but Chelsea with the players they have at their disposal shouldn't be losing against WBA. edit: Just checked their results against other top sides and have to admit the results have been rather impressive. Beating both Liverpool sides and only a small defeat against Man City. So perhaps it's not so bad to lose against them in their home stadium, still Chelsea have spent more money this summer than WBA is worth ![]()

Im pretty confident that if Chelsea don't get back on track quickly, that Pep and Falcao will be in Chelsea by the end of January 1) They don't want Torres. According to Sid Lowe, who knows much more about the situation than you and I put together, his relationship with the Atletico board is not good. Also, in what way would Torres help them to qualify for the CL? He scores a goal every three games with Mata, Hazard, and Oscar providing service. Somehow I don't see him matching Falcao's 1 goal per game record with Koke and Arda Turan. 2) Even if they wanted Torres, they couldn't afford his salary. Not sure how you can note Atletico's financial problems without acknowledging this. The guy makes 200k/wk. Aguero wasn't even making half that figure when Atletico sold him, and Atletico's finances are in worse shape now than a year ago. edit: Chelsea can still get him in January, but Abramovich would have to offer something like 60m to make up for potential lost CL revenue.

Torres boyhood Atletico fan etcetcetc, they would take him back and torres would be happy with anything from around 60k for them (imo, i don't know that it's just a guess) Torres would fit more into Spanish game and probably will score more than he will in England at the moment, helping them qualify for champions league, no he wouldnt be the pinpoint in current form, but might if he could turn it around. The price is 50million euro buyout clause i think, which is like 40 something £ which is fine, what would have to happen is we give them Torres and like 20million. But trust me, if Chelsea want Falcao in January we will get him xD
