On that note, this morning I weighed in at 90kg. That's 12kg lost since december. Pretty happy with the results, but like I said, I'm still little-girl weak in the gym because of my cut. I've never done this before, so I dunno, do I keep cutting until I get skinny and then bulk or bulk and then cut into demigod? Sick of lifting nothing and barely managing it, but if I can keep cutting and still look decent I'd still prefer that since it's summer and I'd rather bulk during winter.
On a sidenote, I saw an honest to god curlbro this morning. He was benching 80kg 3x5 and I was almost impressed until I saw his legs. Looked like he'd just come out of a coma.
Oh, and I also saw a girl athlete. Like, a seriously fit girl. I was waiting in between sets of chins when she came over and did dips on the same bar-thing. At first I thought she was just athletic, but when she did the dips she turned into a greek godess and I turned into a staring retard.

If you won't/can't post pics, what's your height? Can you estimate your body fat for us?
At a certain point, fat starts to drop much more slowly, and you see diminishing returns on your cut. In addition, you see increased affect on your muscle mass because hey - the calories have to come from somewhere, right? So after a certain point if you keep cutting, and don't have the muscle mass to back it up, you just get stick figure thin. This is why I don't worry if I can't see my abs for a week or two at a time, I know it's not worth it and I keep right on maintaining weight or bulking as I was before. If you're still big enough though that you can keep cutting without sacrificing too much in the way of strength, then you go for it.
Do you have a bodyweight goal, or a bf% goal? What are your goals in the lifts? more we know, the better we can help! 12kg down is no joke though man, congrats on that.

Oh man finally, i just did 530lbs(240kg) in deadlift. The first sets were on: 100kg x 10 140kg x 5 180kg x 5 200kg x 3 220kg x 1 240kg x 1
And i were down at 180kg for 2.5months ago! And my main goal in deadlift are 617lbs(280kg) before next year, wish me luck! :D

Holy cow :O I'll ask the most popular question before anyone else so what's your bw? Good luck with 280! It would make you the strongest deadlifter in this subforum. EDIT: According to PR leaderboard 238 is the highest but there hasn't been any updates for few months sadly

For starters I cant power clean my bodyweight. And I'm prolly shorter (170cm) That said, I'm fucking making a 600kg total by the end of the year.

Hang power cleans are almost at BW! Did three singles at 165lb at body weight of 168-170. Bar still had plenty of air so I'm going to go for 170 tomorrow

Not that I can complete with the names here but today I was super psyched at being wrong about something.
Turned out my deadlifts were fucked, not because of bad form but because the plates used were small and compact, not big and thin if you know what I mean. I deadlifted with the proper elevation plates for the first time today and I was just chuckling to the trainer after, going holy shit deadlift is a JOKE, why have I been stuck at 120% bodyweight this whole time??
Dunno if anyone can relate to this kind of thing but i was pummmmped.

Absolutely. At my university gym, there are only two "real" bars that you can use for deadlifting, because the rest are the 55 lb "fat" bars. The gym buys them because they don't warp as easily, but they also don't have any "give" to them when you're starting your pull, so it's harder to get the weight off the ground, they're thicker so the grip is harder, and they're heavier, so.... the lift is heavier. In addition, we have the smaller rubber plates everywhere except the oly platform, where there is a single set of bumpers that are regulation diameter. Pulling from the bumpers with one of the good bars, I can get up at least 50 lbs more than I can get up using the fat bars and smaller plates!
Missed gym session today. Had work, then a orientation session for my third summer job (lifeguarding, gonna get my vit D the natural way!) then grocery shopping, and now by the time I'm home, the gym has been closed for 4 hours, and I have an assignment due for my summer class anyway. Sucks, but I'll go tomorrow I guess.
Also, mandatory swim training 4 days/week + "conditioning" with a few guys on the team (which consists of sprinting a couple 100m repeats and then going to drink beers and grill burgers at the captain's house) + I'm doing the insanity DVD's for the hell of it this summer? Gonna be in good cardiovascular shape for when the season starts up! Wish I had a jumprope to throw on top of all this, but that would probably just kill me =p.

And 45Kg BW on me lol.
But I'm happy that someone new took the lead. The Deadlift PR board had not changed in too long.
I didn't post in a while so here's some news.
I did 184kg x12 last friday as part of a deload week. I'll max 215kg this week, 205Kg next week and 225Kg the week after. In 4-5 weeks I shall do a 1rm and smash my last record (hopefully). During the summer I play a lot of tennis so I drop my strength training a bit.
Don't worry though, my main goal in strength training is a 630lbs @ 180lbs BW Deadlift and I'm still working hard toward that.
