Down 6% from a month and a half tho ![]() Shit, If you weigh 116 you could definitely use a few pounds. Well, a simple argument is that you need to eat a daily 2000 calories just to survive, plus whatever amount of calories you burn from working out. Find some online calculators to do the work and show that you're starving your body without eating more deliciousness.

Start with 2.5-3k cal/day and see how that goes. Up it if you need more and reduce it if you are gaining crazy amount of bf.

Pork is up tonight ![]() Medical definition of your Ideal body weight is 124 +/- 10%. 124 is assuming that you don't even work out. While you aren't that bad, you're definitely not in danger of being "overweight" even for your size. Your mother works in a hospital iirc... tell her that? If she won't listen to it, try to get the PT to back you up. He's got to know that you need to eat to grow, and I'm sure he knows that growing would be a good thing to do before or after surgery if you can manage it.

My mom is probably almost 200, and 5'2" Has issues restraining herself, so there is not much food in house >.> Will resort to massive egg, rice, and milk. (and she won't let me have whole, she talked to an "educated" friend who 1) wouldn't look at studies and 2) lipid hypothesis blablabla. I could just buy half gallons when I"m out, but no way can I finish a gallon so quickly, and it's waay more expensive toget half a gallon than a gallon or two gallons.

I feel good about how big I am for the moment, but I've got a looooong way to go until I start to feel like I'm "big" - I'll get there eventually. Bulking until at least January FTW. Weren't you cutting though? Olive oil's a bit heavy on calories if you're doing that. I prefer lemon Juice myself... But there's nothing wrong with either of those two ingredients, so if it's alright within your calorie count for the day, why the hell not have it?

I'm trying to do what most people here are doing (go up by 5lb every workout) or something along those lines. Well today I was doing squats and last time I did a 205lb with proper technique. Now I tell myself, 225lb easy. I mean I get it done but I don't go low enough, I just seem to get too much pleasure from lifting heavy weight, I'll need to get past that, and put the fact that when I see a guy my age doing more than me I dont try to match him with shitty technique but rather work myself up over time. I got a 44lb pound dumbell press today, and managed to do 5 on the last set compared to the 3 I managed last time, so that felt very good. Although I'm not sure if the scale there is wrong, but I was 156lb 2 days ago when I weighed myself, and today I was 150.5lb. I mean I didnt eat as much, and I was at a party the day before so not too much food... But where are these 5.5lbs, I really hope nothing was taken out of my muscle, as I'm quite lean and need to be careful about that. Also I think I injured my tricep when trying those shoulder shrugs for the first time, it's difficult to choose a weight there that works. I have no idea how I managed to injure it, but I had a 75lb in each hand and just felt a major pain when lifting my shoulders up, dunno how in the triceps though.

If you're finding it hard to motivate yourself to "pick stuff up and put it down again" (I'm not knocking it I'm just saying to some people like me it's not easy to get into emotionally) I strongly reccomend rock climbing. I'm 5,11" and when I started I weighed 190lbs. and in four months I weighed 175lbs and I've built back up to 185 but I'm way way stronger. I like the challange of climbing and the skill you have to develop in order to complete climbs. The routes are also graded so there is a "lvl up" kind of incentive and nice colorful tape as goals indoors. If anyone in New England wants to try it out I'm more than willing to get you started out. There are some great gyms around including Boston, Worcester and Hadley Mass. Outdoor climbing is a little more intense and I reccomend gym climbing to "learn the ropes". :-) Keep up the good work. I wish I could still climb :-) just not able to ATM can't pay for gym membership and nowhere to climb outside around here
