I've been making some progress on the PC but didn't see it was actually 5x3. Been doing it 5x1 deadlift style, and that's just plainly wrong according to what I read earlier in the thread. Gotta adjust that and my form at the exercise. Still need to get me some goddamn shoes, but don't want some in the wrong number.
Other than that I haven't been making much progress due to being sick with a cold, and D-vitamin hasn't been very useful.
My lifts are kinda pathetic and I haven't made enough progress at all despite being on the SS program for a long time. From my viewpoint it's because of my erratic sleeptimes and that I probably aren't eating enough and been having some off days at the gym (a few days downright missing it). Training in the morning is a weird thing but it feels right for me since I get so much anxiety if I train with people who lift a ton more than me (gym is still full of huge guys at primetime). Been thinking about buying some weightgainer, creatin, protein powder to help me get the nutrion right.
Other than that I found an interesting two split work-plan for beginners (seems really interesting after I've done SS for the last 4 months).
http://www.news.bodylab.dk/artikler/261-storre-muskler-back-to-basics Most of the site is in danish, but the there is GIFS and the first column of exercises are monday/thursday and the second column is tuesday/friday. Just wanted your opinion on the plan, probably won't be doing it until I get my other aspects sorted out (no workplan will work if I don't eat and sleep enough period)
actually, this brings up something I've been wondering about the posters in this thread. something that's never ever mentioned here. so we're obviously all interested in working out and fitness, but what is the average sc/sc2 skill level of the people who post here? post what league / points on the ladder you guys are and we can calculate the average of the posters in the thread :p
myself I'm master league, i don't have many games played so I'm at about 1000 points but my mmr is around ~3k eu points. I also placed 2nd in a local LAN last night and won a Mouse pad :D
I gave up laddering a while ago, was low platinum. But I'm considering starting again Didn't play BW much, apart from some lan games, but I watch it all day long!
Prolly around low lvl diamond... Have very good macro but I don't play enough to memorize any BOs or anything. All my friends who play are pretty casual so I'm better than most except a few who play a lot... just a bit worse than them and they're mid diamond or higher.
Used to be C in Broodwar. I haven't played SC2 other than alpha version at conventions.

Arizona Iced tea def has a lot of sugar so ideally we can find a different hydration solution which works for you! (I drink green tea / hot water at work profusely)
havent played in months, but i'm probably low master/high diamond playing protoss though so that might not say much, depending on your point of view ^^
I got a small problem :/ if I exercise, my right elbow/arm hurts for hours... If I do nothing, its completely fine, but if I just put the least bit of pressure on it the pain comes (on friday it started hurting after squatting...). its been particularly bad on friday, but I think its been getting better since then. not sure if I can work out tomorrow or if I should wait until wednesday (or even if I should go see the doctor)
Made just about low level diamond (protoss), but I haven't played in a month or two. If I do get on SC2, I play customs and UMS - I mostly just watch. I was a D level terran in BW. better macro mechanics than most people I play against on ladder, but I don't have any strategies or BO's because I don't play often enough.
So the Doctor is saying that we're either looking at a fluid buildup behind the knee cap, which doesn't make much sense to me, or a meniscus tear. I have X-rays and bloodwork tomorrow, and if that comes back negative, and MRI on TBD. Also have a new prescription for painkillers, but I'm not touching them just yet. When I stick to only walking class to class, and taking elevators rather than stairs, I'm well enough that I don't think I need them.
Had my first days with 5/3/1. one day shoulders, one day chest. Then I'll take a day of core/cardio and repeat. The first workouts are supposed to be easy, but they still had me dripping sweat, just like I do after squats. This was exactly what I was looking for. If the program can deliver that 120 pounds to my bench in a year like it claims, I think I'll be happy to be on it. God knows I've been stalled out long enough.
At least Morrow and Sen advanced. I think they're both playing better than idra and ret atm.
I've been exhausted the entire time this week. I don't think I'm eating enough carbs and I don't think I'm fat adapted again just yet. I'm eating about 90% paleo. 100-200g of carbs a day. Sometimes fully "clean" with rice and sweet potatoes, at other times resorting to pasta and other non paleo carb junk.
I'm not physically exhausted but more like mentally exhausted. Trouble concentrating, trouble remembering, mind fog. I hope it goes away as I adjust my diet/get used to the activity and or paleo and adjust my sleep. I was sleeping super super late lately (Think 9am, lol) but on friday I just stayed up the entire night and slept at around 10pm. Slept 10 hours that night.

Should i still be able to work out tonight? I feel like i can, but i just want the pain to go away because its annoying -.-
Likely a subluxed rib or slipped facet joint... see a chiro or PT immediately so it can get popped back in
Could i still lift tonight? I mean it doesn't feel as bad right now but ive been moving it all day at work so the pain isnt as high right now. Im going tuesday morning to get it looked at by my Chiro since i work all day tomorrow.

If you want to try....
don't do anything that's painful.
I mean, if it gets better by itself (sometimes these things do) then you might be ok

I'm in such a pissed off mood now. I simply can't go to my gym on Mondays anymore, because I know that dipshit will be there wasting everyone's time. Now I need to figure out what to do... do I get back into my old Fri Sun Tue pattern? What the fuck am I supposed to do until Friday? Should I just go in for a squatting/rowing session tomorrow?

Dude, everyone knows if you can't get one rep you just didn't put enough weight on it. Duh.
