Also do you have a subsidiary in the EU? Would make invoicing so much more easier. I don't think that less than 100 hours per month makes much sense. To put it a different way: If I have to chose between someone who (numbers pulled out of thin air) scores 97 out of 100 and can only work part time, and someone who scores 94 out of 100 but can work full-time, I'd always go for the 2nd person. You can work whenever you like. What is the difference in invoicing? At least for my German tax declaration, it makes no difference whatsoever where (as long as it's outside of Germany) I deliver my services and send my invoices. None of our other European contractors has ever voiced such a preference, either. I was asking for VAT-purposes - but maybe the legislation for individual contractors is different in Romania. Nonetheless I will apply and will figure the details out if it will be the case. Thanks for the quick reply.

reddit on /r/programming or /r/javascript, /r/ruby, /r/python and etc?
I have received an application that mentiones finding the offer on reddit , so I'm assuming word is getting spread already I did post to two subs on reddit - there is a small amount of discussion there, but I'm pushing people to come here for better answers:
/r/IWantOutJobs and /r/WorkFromHome I can post to other subs if needed. I don't want to encourage too much of a deluge of applications - I need Matthias to be available for my little irritating questions

Is the position still available?

Please message me if you need any other type of worker :D !!! I am not a programmer but need a job! Thank you!

Hi, how big of a problem would it be if I needed help from your Czech employees to get the proper permit for a contractor? Thank you.

Since I am their boss, I can just order Pavel or Jarek to help you

As a general rule (perhaps Romania has special laws, so obviously do your own research), EU businesses do not charge VAT to customers outside the EU, which is nice for both you as a contractor and Simpli,fi as your customer.

Is there a name for the starting position (not Data Engineer/Application Developer) ?

Most people use just 'Contractor'.
edit: To clarify: I understood your question as what people put into the applications. If that wasn't the case:
Internally, we run the team of contractors that do the campaign work as 'swat', when emailing, most of the contractors just sign with their first name.

John, for example, uses "AdOps Specialist". If you are good and the title is your only concern, I am sure something can be worked out - you shouldn't let this issue deter you from applying.

Why not officially call them "account managers", which is accepted practice in the industry

We are not account managers - although we work closely with the company's account managers on a daily basis.

If you need an extra day or two, just let us know.

Awesome! Thanks a lot, I'll be sending it inside 18 hours.

Yah, not going to kick people out because they sent the email 3 minutes late. I'll probably include anyone in this round that contacts me before Friday.
We'll start sorting through the applications tomorrow, I think on round two, that took three days.

Will everyone hear back from you? Even if it's a plain "NO"?

The number of applications is more manageable than on the first two rounds, so I'm leaning towards 'yes' on that one.

I have sent my application. I forgot a "the" in the CV, but the rest of the CV/cover letter should make up for it.
I've even looked a bit into what's needed for setting up a company or sending invoices in my country, and it shouldn't be a problem.
Thank you, again, for allowing me to send this after the deadline.

I've always been curious, how are you determining the number of years you require in each language? What's your different expectations for someone who has 2 years of python development compared to 3, or 4?
I'd apply but sadly I don't appear to qualify since I haven't made/don't even know what linux applications are (which I'm guessing are objective c scripts, but I could be wrong, pretty unfamiliar with development in linux).
