To choose I need Diablo, or some other junk. Thank you for giving back to the community. It's stuff like this that separates the Starcraft community from the others.

I guess my story will more about how sc2 brought peoeple together. When I started sc2 I played a lot. I eneded up finding an amazing coach who helped with my play a lot. Ohter the past year we get together for weekly lessons. They used to be more about improving. Now they seem to take on a much different role. Our hour sessions become the two of us having fun for an hour. Being able to talk balance or talk about general sc2 news. We have become friends through sc2. We chat often wether we have a session or not. There has been times where I have sat him down and told him to watch a replay so he could improve a aspect of his play. Even though he is my coach still. I am able to offer insight into his play. We have become much more equals now then just student and coach. He has become a good friend and someone who likely knows more aobut me than anyone in my family. I guess to add aanother story of mine would be that of a friend of mine. They played sc2 a bit before I did. Only by a month or two. They eventually got out of it but I stuck with it. I played a ton. Now they recently got back into sc2 and through that we have been talking more and more (we didn't talk often before) Through our love of esports we have a friendship that is closer than it ever was. I am able to have fun with them and help them out when I can. Maybe another story as well. A few months ago I decided to buy a sc2 kr account. This was before you could buy a taiwanese account and get on korean server. Anyways, I ended up meeting this one guy who spoke decent english and was a really cool guy to chat with. We would also talk about how maybe one day he would win GSL or be in code A (he was high masters at the time). But through him I met another guy. He introduced himself and we starting talking a lot. He would be on almost always the same time I was on so we would play a ton of games together. We always had fun and we talked about sc2. Eventually we got to talking about more than that. about living in Korea, about life, music, the world around us. I don't know why but him and I get along really well. He was a complete stranger when I met him, but he has become a really close friend and a awesome guy to chat with. We often talk about music, and our shared love of Park-Bom of 2ne1. He has introduced me to so many people and practice partners. He has also been there when I just needed someone to talk to. With everything going on in my life. I finally know someone I can turn to to have some fun. I cannot thank him enough for everything he has helped me with since I met him. I cannot wait to meet him in a few months when I go down to see him. Will be one of the highlights of my year. I guess to put all these stories I have told into one consice paragraph. I have met and encountered so amyn different people during my time playing sc2 and sc:bw. I have learned more in one year then in my entire life. I cannot imagine my life without these people now which I didn't know only a year and a half ago.

well, at school, i have a lot of Korean friends that love to play SC2 and BW, and we do team games, monobattles, ladder partnerships, the whole shebang. the thing is, we were actually mostly enemies before, but it happened that one of my buddies had brought his computer, and was playing a beta version of SC2 back in 2010 (wow its been a LONG time). well, being starcraft geeks, we all crowded around and watched him play, and we soon realized that we all loved to not only be good at SC, but also to have fun. We ended up bonding over the game, and these days we often stay up till 5am together watching GSL and going to each other's houses to watch MLG or Dreamhack. we also get into very heated discussions about balance and different strategies, but we end up back on the same point, that we love SC2, BW, and all the other eSports out there
