For those of you that aren't familiar with us, Playhem is a tournament and head-to-head platform where users can wager play points or cash in buy-in tournaments and 1v1 matches. Playhem also sponsors DAILY cash prize tournaments for players of all skill levels that are completely free to enter. Everyday on both NA and EU servers, Playhem hosts a $75 open tournament! For lower level players who wish to compete within their skill level, we host a $6 Bronze-Silver, $10 Gold-Platinum, and $15 Diamond tournament, every single day.

It's a bit strange that you keep saying on stream that theres not many tickets left and it will be crowded, and then you can afford to give 250 tickets away, and keep doing sales on them?
I think somebody fears that a very few people will show up

When events like this happen, a certain quota of tickets is set aside for things like this, on top of being able to do it for no-shows, etc. to fill seats that tickets were already sold for etc.

Let me just say, if you have the ability to go to IPL 3 and you skip it instead, you'll be very sorry. =P It's going to be an absolutely amazing time. =)

I have to agree with Joshy over there... I know I'm more than psyched to be a part of this event on the staff side of things and I have to say that if you have a chance to go and you miss out on it then you will be missing out on what I'm sure will be an awesome time, ESPECIALLY since it's in Atlantic City! (Great place to kick back and enjoy some awesome times... know this from lots of personal experience!)
Oh and for those wondering how they're giving tickets away, take it from a guy that's involved in a lot of events for similar types of events... the amount of "promo" tickets that are set aside for various purposes such as this promotion is always taken into account and is in no way an indicator of how many or few tickets are already sold. So GET PUMPED!

Can't wait. Everyone acknowledges the awesome production ign has had in their sc2 coverage. Now we get to see that production value used over a huge live event. Very pumped.

wow, playhem, i am liking you more even though im too young to attend ipl3 (im like 90% sure its 21+ only TT)
now that i look into it, i find that it seems like a fun idea for me to play in the playhem dailies :3 good opponents and the "chance*" at a prize
*not really, GM players are good...very good
