The only reason many people aren't getting comments is because other than your competition and the FXO staff I doubt many people are going through all the submissions. More than likely your competition isn't going to compliment your work as they have their own, and the FXO staff doesn't want to reveal what their favorites are until the end to ensure they get a large variety of work to choose from. That probably doesn't help much but it's the most obvious scenario for why more comments aren't being thrown onto certain concepts. | ||

Gimp is exactly what it's name implies when compared to a legitimate product such as Photoshop. The interface for Gimp alone is much more cumbersome than anything I've ever had to figure out in Photoshop. | ||

For some stuff here and there GIMP is enough to handle the task properly. Cheap alternative is ULEAD Photoimpact, runs at arround 20-50 bucks as far as i know. | ||
