A 2-drop being good enough to draw removal isn't a drawback.
Maybe I just play bad people then because I tend to get whatever I play on turn 2 removed (well, save when I do a quest with Face Hunter, but that's because if either has 1 HP to ping or they don't want to kill it, like a scientist or creeper). Always make me a bit sad when I have a mechwarper in hand but know it'll just draw a t2 removal as I'm playing a tempo-reliant deck.
Also... well, it's not a good example since I think this card would be better in tempo, but Oil Rogue doesn't have many minions, and fewers "expendable" ones. Getting a seer or agent frostbolted if I got to use their effects isn't that bad, but I'd rather be able to contest the board a bit than have to burn an eviscerate or blade flurry on removal if possible.
In a tempo deck there'd probably be more minions, and getting more coins to activate combos and stuff without having to wait for later turns (as, I think it was Tolkien? said, Rogue really hurts for activators apart from Backstab and Prep (and the occasional deckhand in oil).

The controls are very simple. Despite that, there's still a bit of a learning curve with the physics and self/ball control, but once you start to grasp the basics, you start being able to do some pretty cool things. The game clock is only 5 minutes, but so much happens in that time. It's very fast paced, but still great casual fun when you're playing with friends. I was laughing for 4-5 hours straight last night.
You can fly with your rocket, drive on walls, crash through people and blow up their cars, bump people out of the way, make crazy saves...
Its elegance is in its simplicity.
Do we have enough people to do some inhouses? I'd be down for some games.
I think I'm playing with my friends tonight. We've decided to forgo D&D in the interest of car soccer
Also premade ranked 3v3s is coming later this month.
Oh good, this is something we were disappointed was missing

Something I learned the hard way in Bridge is that sometimes all you can do with a King is force out the Ace, and that's okay. If you hold on to the King in the hopes it'll eventually become good you'll often never get that opportunity and/or get trumped anyway.
2-drops in Hearthstone are similar. Unless it's absolutely critical to your win condition to keep it in hand, it's almost always better to play it and have it draw a removal card than to hold onto it.

it's a simple game concept with a ton of depth. at first it is hard to control the ball but as soon as you get used to the physics it becomes really easy
I dunno, I dislike sports games for the most part and I hate racing games, so a sports game with the controls of a racing game doesn't feel that interesting to me.
Also, I was at the store yesterday and saw Evolve on the shelf. That sure as hell made a big flop. I didn't see anyone talking about it after release, does anyone know if people actually play it at all?

I'm curious why you don't like these genres.

I know some people play it - there was a tournament at PAX East. But people are sick of paying installments to get games.
Eh, I dunno. Sports games just never felt too fun to me, like I don't hate them, but they don't hold my attention for more than a few games at a time. There have been some that I've loved, but few and far between.
Driving games are just like meh. Mario Kart is about as much as I do in that genre. Most just kinda feel samey, if you've played one you've played them all, just with different skins and tracks. I guess that doesn't come into play too much for Rocket League, to be fair.

Its more that they released it with the price tag of AAA title but got the content of a small coop/multiplayer only game. Its competing with the weebs playing skullgirls and douches playing payday when it cost vastly more.
Fucking reddit on why they vote for Sanders:
Let's see... Immaculate human rights record... No big business ties.... Speaks his mind.... Genuinely gives a shit about the nation... Has that weird aura of hope around him. Thought it was on Obama, too, but it was just a trick of the lighting.

Exactly. I would've been happy to pay $60 for it if it was with all the content.

People that vote in america are fucking weird.
politics in America are (is?) in a pretty interesting state right now
edit - I'm also not sure if you're saying it's weird because of the reasons, or that it's weird that those qualities are remarkable
no big business ties? I heard some people say over here that it's good if a politician is filthy rich from business because there's lower chance of them taking bribes LOL
weird aura of hope sounds like something Satan would have though.

"Lisa, a guy who's got lots of ivory is less likely to hurt Stampy than a guy whose ivory supplies are low."
Homer Simpson.
I guess it depends on how said buisnessman got his money
I've got that disturbing feeling after a haircut where I can feel the breeze on my scalp. Make it stop. I also have to shave off my beard again because my head looks bottom heavy as fuck right now.
And yeah American politics is fun. Trump is a great addition to the GOP, lol. Though if I were to choose my pick would be Kasich/Rubio as my ticket.
Too bad Hildog will win the Dem race. She's far too hawkish for me. Sanders is the best candidate of all of them, but he's non-electable in the US, sadly.

Last time I looked at polls, Sanders was rated higher.

Sanders is gaining a lot of momentum. I don't think he's beating Hillary in many/most/any polls yet, but I do know he's gained significant ground recently. I believe I saw that in NH and Iowa(?) he's within 10 pts, and those are two very important states to win. I do know that he is polling well against the republican candidates (as is Hillary).
Last night he held a rally in Portland that had 28k attendees + 10k stream viewers. The night before, he got 15k(?) in Seattle. He has been getting >10k even in red states (granted, these rallies are held in cities of those states, which tend to be more liberal). I think tonight he's in LA, which should also be an important one.
I do not think he is unelectable. Just listening to the rhetoric of people who dislike him change over the last couple months has been interesting. What's even more interesting is how blatantly the media has been (largely) ignoring him. I have tried not to post about him a lot here to avoid being "that guy", but I am extremely excited about him as a candidate.
Ah... hm. Patron is a thing, so it's automatically trash in that sense. On the other hand, if you discount Patron Warrior... I dunno? It's extremely sticky, but Owls are common enough. But, if they silence this, then they're not silencing Sludge Belcher, Sylvanas, Emperor, etc.
4 mana for 1/1 is a lot though. It seems fun for use with buffs like Demonfire or Demonheart. You can also get a card out of it with Mortal Coil if you desperately need a draw, and turns Power Overwhelming into "gain +4/+4 for one turn" for 1 mana. So, it's kinda interesting? I'm not sure how to value it.

looks interesting I guess. but yeah if your opponent goes frothing patron I guess you just lose
Yeah, unless you buff it, or you have effects on summoning (Knife juggler? It's too slow for him though) it's too costly for the stats I think. Who needs that when you have Imp Gang Boss to produce tokens (and leave one after its death), and stuff like Void Caller and Imp-losion on turn 4?
