Man, I dunno how many people enjoy Sun Kil Moon here, but Benji is just a really freaking great album. If you have the time to listen to a few songs, check these out.

Are you playing the FFG Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay? You'll have to let me know how that goes. I know that Deathwatch/Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader are pretty well liked on the 40k front, I've never heard much about the WHFB RPGs.
yeah we are using the second edition handbook https://www.dropbox.com/s/n1i584tyct10caq/Warhammer-Fantasy-Roleplay-2nd-edition.pdf?dl=0 its pretty different. and low "level" characters are pretty floppy. everything is d100 based pretty much. so for example to make an attack you choose your respective stat. (35 is pretty good to start with) add modifiers for difficulty (optimistically bringing this up to a 55) then you have to roll a d100 and get under that. I put a bunch of my stats in ranged attack and I have a 40 so with normal difficulty i only hit 40% of the time. then there are degrees of success failure so if i rolled a 90 I would fail by 5 degrees and basically shoot myself in the face. Also there are no levels you spend 100exp to advance an "attribute" by 5 and you have a career that dictates which advancements you can take. you can change careers for exp and they have different advancement options. I still have no idea what the fuck is going on most the time but im having fun.
That sounds complicated but pretty interesting. I'm not huge into WHFB in the first place (never got into the lore), but new systems are always really cool. I like the idea of varying degrees of pass/fail rather than just a binary with the occasional crit.

I dunno if that would improve her popularity at all... there have been like 100s of subreddits and people banned already and no one likes a dictator. I find the whole situation hilarious!
I've also got a new source of motivation from soniv and I hope he can keep it up till I hit my goal weight
Chilli was lookin fine back in the TLC day tho... probably one of my first celebrity crushes but I don't remember that as vividly as my gaming(priorities!). I really liked some of their music as well.

I've been kicking around the idea of starting a sort of log here somehow(doesn't seem like there's any proper section for a thread since the health & fitness stuff got dropped into community and is no longer its own subforum, and I don't want the blog section to be nothing but my updates because it's generally inactive), seeing you talk about wanting some motivation made me think about it again. Does this sound like a decent idea(Coma, mordek, owb, all of the others I've seen pop some lifting questions/discussion in here, everyone else feel free to chime in)? I could maybe start a random wordpress blog or something and just link it in here when I post?

Its no disaster, its a treasure trove of information on how silicon valley didn't understand why reddit was popular to begin with.

I think it speaks more to the power of a vocal minority to fling shit and make everyone else pay for it.
1) People that actually like fatepeoplehate 2) People that think all the hateful subreddits should be banned as it's only fair. 3) People that think "freedom of speech" means everything should be fair game.
All of those are just the vocal minority that cares enough about reddit to actually stir shit when the rest of people are just content to browse the places they browse.

huh? by definition the minority doesn't get heard on /r/all I think the majority of reddit users enjoyed the free speech ideal they had before they changed it. not sure how you think everyone is paying for people complaining about that policy change either. I probably shouldn't talk about this anymore though so as not to get warned after being told to stop talking about it yesterday. but yeah, selective shadow banning things based on arbitrary rules that are not applied universally is usually a bad policy.
suck it up cixah you can do it! the place will fall apart if you dont show up and I bet your boss knows it! refuse to work the weekend! muscle through and succeed!
p.s. yesterday people got the idea that i was defending the people in that subreddit. I wasnt. i have never contributed to reddit and just like viewing stuff I just also recognize the hypocrisy and am enjoying the good shitstorm with my unbuttered unsalted popcorn.
