I've heard some people say that FTL difficulty was bad design, because sometimes you had good RNG and it was pretty easy and sometimes you had awful rng and had to make do, but in single player games I think that can be quite ok. In good RNG you get to run your dream setup and a bad RNG run can be very memorable afterwards, if you manage to pull through. With into the breach, right when I start the game I pretty much know what is going to be happening in the next 1.5 hours and there aren't going to be any real surprises on the way at all. On the other hand starting an FTL game always felt like an adventure. I suppose it's supposed to be mainly a puzzle game? But I guess I was never particularly fond of those. | ||

If there were more islands and they got randomized each time, more enemy types, just more shit for the game to throw at you, that would make it better. | ||

Now it's just 4-5 posts every few days about some random game, or the weather, and people posting music videos on mondays. I remember when there were multiple games going at once, now it takes each game a month to fill I wonder if lack of players is more because TL on the whole is way deader than it used to be or because of the toxic atmosphere. | ||
