Ya that's the router I use, simple enough for home use, unless you have some serious WLAN work going on the higher end routers barely have benefit anyways as you are limited by your ISP's bandwidth far far far before your router/adapter will limit anything. That above statement goes for your modem too. Unless you are upgrading to fiberoptic in the near future you don't even need more than one of the base 384 DOCSIS modems, nobody is pulling gigabit speeds through the wall on a normal cable sub. | ||

What I remember from last time I looked is that the combo items that support modern wifi protocols were expensive compared to a simple 1 port modem(feed to router)+entry level router combo. You can also just replace the router should new developments come about that you want to get in on, rather than having to replace the combo unit, since the modem is likely to still be fine for your coax connection(until you need fiberoptic but that's taking its sweet sweet time getting around the country). | ||

3rd time being pulled over for literally nothing... stuck there on the side of the road in front of this asshole for 15 to 30 minutes with his lights on because he "wants to talk" or "wants to look around".
