I don't understand most of the game of thrones hype (keep in mind I also didn't understand harry potter hype) but that song was very good and I liked it.

That impression is loooooong gone lol What's your opinion of Banlings? Don't worry. There's no wrong answer... I'm terrified of all of you. Especially Yango. He's like that highly traditional Asian Grandfather who is revered before he is loved. So intimidating.

...... Does it sound weird that I now wonder who on this forum could be considered "traditional asian grandmother?" I want to meet yango's future wife.

In Card Games you cannot be results oriented. It leads to really awfully misguided deck choices. Like bringing dredge to a tournament where you know people are playing GY hate. Unless you are actually jesus with the deck (I am) and know every single in and out possible, you're going to have a bad time. Card games is all about your long-term win rate. A lot of the Hall of Famers don't have sky-high win rates. What they have is consistency. Take Patrick Chapin. Never actually won anything but everyone respects the heck out of him because he's so consistent and he knows how to attack metas in ways people didn't think possible. When you can come out on top of variance - that's the mark of greatness. I respect Patrick Chapin as a player, but I think he sold out super hard writing his book and selling it for money.

Come play contract bridge with me friends.

I misread that as "contact" bridge. That sounded a *lot* more fun.

I read the first book a year before the first season came out because I read good things about it and was curious. I have since really enjoyed what the show has done with it, even through some story deviation.
tl;dr - my hype is all #hipsterhype

When you lose you stab the winner in the eye with your ace of spades.

I'm not good enough at limbo to get that low.

I think I checked out A Game of Thrones from the local public library in 2004, but then I didn't have time to read it so I returned it but I did it before the due date.
I'm the equivalent of the SMB level -1.

Should I use American dollars to buy Hearthstone cards?

LOL moment in Dark Souls I kept kicking myself for not being able to kill Habel because I didn't get Master Key, and was a long ways away from fighting the butterfly thing. But then I went to darkroot basin, got past the black knight (not nearly strong enough to fight him lol) and found that the exit from Habel's area was right there. I could hear him walking around inside, just past a locked door. Because I was pissed I couldn't fight him, I just stabbed through the door with a halberd and it hit him through the door rofl
I was able to kill Habel without taking damage by baiting him to the door and dodging his attacks (which oneshot me a few times through the fucking door lol) and eventually his body, after he died, fell THROUGH THE DOOR meaning I was able to pick up Habel's Ring, which wtf it's really strong, and never even took damage. The tricky part was aiming the halberd just right so it would curve around the stone corner and hit him with a curving halberd. looooool

The first time I played the taurus demon did his jumping attack as I rolled along the bridge, changing his trajectory to jump directly off the bridge, taking me along with him. I got "You defeated!" and "You died" at the same time, and I thought yup, sure feels like a souls game.

I hope you don't mind spending all your pocket change on digital cards.
Cause I sure don't.

Been testing out priest post-patch. I've won like 95% of my games vs druid, shaman, control warlock and paladin. I'm about 50/50 vs rogue because they can burst from 15 with eviscerate, deathly poison, leeroy and shit. I'd be very happy with these results if it wasn't for the fact that stupid warlock aggro and mages variants are still floating around in non-trivial numbers, and I think I've only won 1 out of 5 of those games.
edit: and hunters too. fuck hunters.
|
Hunter may be too good again. I'm still not sure. The "Secret" Hunter is pretty damn good vs the meta (assuming you dont get blown out by people playing ooze.) That said I feel like you could port this list to shaman and be just as fine, but the hero power is what really makes the deck tick.
