In the windwaker Wii U bundle, I got a download code for a digital copy of Hyrule Historia (haven't downloaded it yet). From what I remember reading a while back, the "official" zelda timeline put out by Nintendo is incredibly controversial, but I don't remember why. | ||

 I can see how the "Link dies" changes the timeline, as Ganon being sealed anyway, but not before he acquires the full Triforce, means that Hyrule starts to decay + Show Spoiler + like Triforce-less Lorule does in ALBW I'm not sure either how the Adult/Child timelines differ. Ganon is stopped before he starts his plan in the Child timeline so he doesn't free himself at a time when there's no link, contrary to the Adult timeline (which leads to WW)? Also it'd mean that Zelda doomed her own kingdom when she decided to send Link back in time so he could get his seven years back. Good job ruler. :< | ||
