Mass Effect 2 is too good to just sit there untouched. You should play Mass Effect 1 before though. I prefer the ME1 story over the ME2 one actually. It's just the side mission that make ME2 a better game.

I played ME1 in college, never got around to 2. I have 3 as well, on console though. My Single Player library is a bit massive right now.

Going through the mass effect trilogy was definitely one of the most satisfying experiences I have ever had. ME3 had some seriously emotional moments

I still have to finish Papers, Please, complete Mark of the Ninja, and pick up The Stanley Parable.
Not to mention FTL Advanced later this year AND ON TABLETS. yesssss
Also I should finish Rogue Legacy someday. I wish it had cloud saves...

Have you not beat borderlands 2. I want to buy and beat it but have no one to sesh it with. I love co-op single player games. Also need to beat magicka with someone

I haven't done any Borderlands 2. I liked the first one a lot, it was just too short and had legitimately the stupidest ending of any game ever.
"Oh thanks for beating that giant octopus vagina monstrosity that was in the safe, here's some guns. Game Over!".

rogue legacy doesn't even take that long to play through once IIRC
gets a bitch at NG+7 or so though

I'll play Magicka with TL people because it's just not the same alone.

I think ME2's gameplay is just massively better than ME1, tbh. ME1 just has the wrong mix of "not enough shooter" and "not enough RPG" for me to feel that the mechanics of the game were uninteresting in virtually all regards.
Story-wise they're both the same cookie-cutter formula that Bioware has been using since BG2. I wouldn't play either game for the story, tbh. "Atmosphere" more than story, I guess.

You two should definitely play BL2 - it's so great. I haven't gone too much into the game after the story ending (playing through again for more levels and stuff), and I haven't done too many of the side DLC quests - but it's a hilarious and super fun game.

Have they added content to it? I haven't played it in ages (>1.5 years probably).

Call me a casual, but the Mass Effect trilogy was my favorite gaming experience ever.

I don't know if I should be happy that I have off all week outside of friday, or pissed off that I have to work on black friday.

Aren't "single player co-op games" basically WoW-style MMOs where you can avoid PvP altogether unless you wish for it?

I don't think anyone would contest you on that. Totally legit.
I'm a fucking Persona devotee. 3 and 4 were both amazing and I'm so pumped for 5.
But I also have a striking memory of playing Skies of Arcadia: Legends during my childhood that I still recall thinking "damn that's so pretty" about. Which is weird.

^ fucking casual. Well I'll pick up BL2 soon and we can beat that together. And Asmos, lets beat magicka. It's way better playin with people in that game
