I honestly don't know how people lose so often to mono aether unless they just get really bad draws. MonoAether usually screws with alot of defenses (while having pretty strong defense as well), and with Arena deck bonuses, it's fairly strong given quanta is its effective limiter. I get crushed by the occasional Wise Dragons aether decks because 200 hp+dragons with shards bypasses most defenses, unless you pick up highly situational magic reflect shields. Unless I get a good draw, usually inevitably dying after they put up the first sharded dragon. Need moar shards of wisdom before I can run those kinds of deck. Aether/Dark decks are annoying as hell as well. Fractal burrowers, enjoy no quanta at all. | ||

I've vsed a lot of platinum decks in the arena and my god some of those can be the worst. Some of them if you don't get a good draw it = instalose. Try vsing 12 quicksands, 12 black holes, and 12 shards of focus, with a pulverizer thrown in there, just in case you have any permanents left. lol it's so dumb if you don't get enough quanta and get something that allows you to control the board extremely early, you instalose because those decks are also rainbow decks with a lot of control (arctic squids, otyugh's, etc), so even if you get a creature on the board it's instantly lobotomized, frozen, and/or eaten. Personally I prefer control decks like that though. I kind of hate mono decks as they get so boring after a while. | ||
