Not seeing the patch notes, playing the game, and knowing the typical view of DotA v League balance paradigms on LL, I'm guessing heroes got their power curves homogenized.

Some things off the top of my head are spellvamp, rubberband,reducing minion gold while increasing kill gold, kill streaks stuff, increasing passive gold gain. I haven't played in some months so may be even more stuff. Overall the patches feel quite "leaguey". League went the way of trying to minimize the effect of the early game over the seasons and well Icefrog did the exact same thing as well over last few patches where as before the different phases of the game were more pronounced.

They kind of smashed the rubberbanding (which was really ridiculous) this patch, actually. They also reduced creep and jungle gold, while the assist gold (well their equivalent, it's not really assist gold in DotA) is weighted on net worth (so your support gets more gold than a core for an assist on the same kill).
LoL's rubberbanding is more in exp than gold, but hot damn isn't the exp catch-up mechanic ridiculous in the jungle, you can't really put someone in the dumpster unless you completely snowball as soon as you put them a level behind and kill them over and over.

I was going to mention that myself.

My impression of Lollipop on my Nexus 7 was less than stellar and I was seeing a lot of performance issues. 5.2 isn't out yet, so unless CMod worked some serious wizardry, I don't have high expectations for CMod 12.

Today we lost a match we certainly could have won and are out of the tournament (and I get upset because my lane opponent lucked out twice, the first one dictating the rest of the lane so it didn't feel like a "fair and square" loss), it rained all day long, noone even bothered to answer when I suggested to go out tomorrow (street animations for the week-end), and when I attempted to play my promo series we had some baddies expecting Nautilus to teleport to any lane faster than a Hecarim and to cast Kayle ult from across the map so it's not their fault when they dive and get camped, with an AFK kid to raise the bar, and the next game as we look like we may win on the next teamfight my computer's graphic card shits on me and triggers a BSOD. Team still won 4v5 because Vayne is a god who manages a quadra while fighting Amumu/Rengar/Lucian/Katarina/Janna in a jungle corridor though.

Yesterday was meh with the laser game not being that great when people cheat, and tomorrow... well, tomorrow will find a way to make me feel like I wasted my day too, I'm sure.

Of course, all that's still not much compared to what Wave, Crusnik or Cixah go through, amongst others.

I just hope TI5 is worth it, which it should since I'm meeting guys I've played/talked with daily for almost 5 years. it'll be amazing.
