All of the things I don't want to do lol then i agree clubs arn't for you but that's essentially what they advertise so don't complain if you go and that's what you get. I personally feel like doing that some times when im with the right friends. top 40 was a bit of a generalization if you have a choice of different ones around. and casual flirting is fun when you don't go in with expectations to take someone home and focus on that. Clubs are fun when you just go with a group of people to have fun. The whole trying to pick up women only makes it a frustrating experience. Just dance/drink/talk shit and have fun. Meet random people etc. I'm normally pretty introverted but I've enjoyed clubbing with friends. I think guys that go to clubs just to hit on women have it all wrong.I'm pretty introverted so I don't normally randomly talk to people so being half drunk at a club is one of the easier ways to be outgoing for me :D Oh as a tip do pre-drinks. Never go straight to a club fully sober. That'll just burn through all your money See, I should know this, but as soon as I end up at a bar/club I start over thinking things. Also having my friends be more charismatic than me doesn't help.

Eh gay guys are super funny. Gay nightclubs are awesome since randoms can buy you drinks.
|
Maybe that is why I like gay bars, I never have to pay for my own drinks at them.

Can't really tell you just to not care about that since you care about what you care. If it helps I had a friend that whenever we went out he would intro me to some new girls that he knew or slept with in his past. Every single night. They were all pretty fun and we just hung out together so not to bad. Maybe I'm just not the envious type or it depends on the type of people your friends are. He always made it about us having fun instead of the girls though. If your friends are actively making it not enjoyable maybe talk to them about it?
Ketera, have you tried a dick or two?

I made out with a guy at a party once.
It's a pretty funny story.

Okay so, my first year of college there was this guy who was super into me, right.
And he knew I was straight but he was still super into me. And he kept asking if he could take me out to dinner or whatever. And at the time I was like dead broke so eventually I was like "Hey so, I'm straight, you know I'm straight, but if you want to buy me dinner I like going out to dinner so we can do that, I just want you to know it's not going to go anywhere."
And he was fine with that, and he took me out to eat what I think like a dozen times.
Later that year I was at a party with my girlfriend, and we were all super drunk, and she really wanted to see me kiss this other guy that she had the hots for. And being that I was rather inebriated, I said okay and I kissed the guy for her.
Little did I know that this guy who had been buying me dinner for months was also at the party, and saw this behavior. And he got PISSED and threw a giant fit. Which was totally deserved, frankly.
The only way I could get him to shut up was to take my girlfriends advice and make out with him. She at least thought this was a fantastic idea.
The guy never took me out to dinner after that, so sad.

Until now....
We have to find this pussy to contain it. The fate of the world is at stake.

Damn I didn't see that coming. From the beginning of the story I thought you were gonna give him a thank you for dinner but I'm straight make out so it's only one time at the porch of your apartment after he dropped you off watching him drive of into the moonlight.
Your version is ok I guess too.
@numy hahaha I'm not sure we could find a pussy so good it turned you gay, but I would start the search in Africa or South America.

Ketera, have you tried a dick or two? Yeah I wish it was just that easy for me haha. I'm conscious that I shouldn't let it bother me but idk how to actually make that happen. I'm unfortunately envious.

There's nothing wrong about being like that though OWB. That's just who you are. Not every activity is going to be fun for everyone. I'm kind of avoiding my post drunken high no girlfriend depression I get occasionally or the taking people home because they too drunk to go home reasonably so I'm sitting there stressing about this guy being ok or cleaning up outside a store because your friend vomitted everywhere while you were trying to get him sober or when a friend vanishes so now I spend half the night trying to find him because he was too wasted to really think properly.
Social anxiety sucks lol. Don't know what to say other than do what you find fun and don't try force what isn't fun.

owb I don't know what's going on so please take this with my best intentions. Maybe you're too focused on finding worth / completeness in the opinions and company of other people. When you are content with who you are, you're able to then enter into a meaningful relationship. Dependent people are not ready for a healthy relationship. Independent people might be, but it can be shallow as they rely on only themselves. Interdependent people will have healthy relationships. I understand the nerves and anxiety and frustration at shortcomings, I've been there. I'm also a few years ahead of you and looking back you realize you're just in the process of figuring yourself out. You fixate on the wrong things etc. Rejection and lost love are not going to make you less of a person. I wish I had more time to construct a post while at work but I'm just rambling things off. You'll be so much happier when you encounter a person who supplements and complements who you are than if you find someone you think will fill some void in you.
