clubs are not a good place to meet women generally speaking + Show Spoiler +i mean its okay if you are that type of forward confident guy and are just looking for some casual bumping and kissing but not so much a good place to make connections although this is possible too but clubs are a great place when you want to dance to top 40 music in a crowd and buy expensive drinks.

I personally feel like doing that some times when im with the right friends. top 40 was a bit of a generalization if you have a choice of different ones around. and casual flirting is fun when you don't go in with expectations to take someone home and focus on that.

Is there a single player puzzle/adventure game I should play as well? I haven't played a lot so there's a good chance I haven't tried it yet! What system? The DS has a lot of great puzzle games. PC. I have like a gameboy advanced somewhere with pokemon red and that's it. Try out Antichamber, it's fucking phenominal. Think Portal but instead of teleporting it's mindfuckery. Quantum Conundrum is sorta similar but more lighthearted. Both of them are in the vein of First Person puzzle solving. Braid and FEZ I would say fit the bill. Thomas Was Alone is more of a platformer, but fucking everyone should play it anyway. There's enough problem solving in there that it might scratch the itch. Adventure Game is a broad category though, could you give an example? Nah I think you've given me plenty of material to look through. I gave Myst as an example, which I may do anyways since have very nebulous memories of so I'm more invested in returning to that one Definitely going to review everyone's suggestions though.
If first person puzzle is what you're looking for, I highly highly highly recommend the talos principle. I'm convinced it's a better-constructed game than portal. It's not as flashy since it doesn't have a really interesting 'gimmick' like portal does, but its puzzles are so much more rewarding than portal's. Plus it has a genuinely interesting story/idea behind it, which is kind of on a different axis than what portal is trying to achieve but I appreciate it more.
Antichamber is also amazing if you're looking to get mindfucked by a puzzle game.

yeah but if you just listen to what people say you have zero options to meet women lol public places is a no-no thats anti-feminist bars i guess? clubs is bad because music too high girls just wanna dance stop harass plox work is a nono dont shit where you eat or company policy or w/e
like i dont think it matters too much tough shit if you're inconveniencing women they'd complain just as much if absolutely no guys talked to them
in fact i read an article written by some white woman going to japan who was saying that she felt super lonely and loveless because no japanese guys would talk to her. She was like "okay i know for a fact im good looking and even went I dressed up slutty and walked by construction sites or in public transport nobody said anything to me same thing in bars and clubs" she was kinda confused when her japanese girlfriends telling her that japanese guys are really shy even for non foreign girls lol
but equally one of the comments was like" oh yeah its great in japan im unharassed i can do whatever i want"
then again you have the train pervs LOL

Clubs are fun when you just go with a group of people to have fun. The whole trying to pick up women only makes it a frustrating experience. Just dance/drink/talk shit and have fun. Meet random people etc. I'm normally pretty introverted but I've enjoyed clubbing with friends. I think guys that go to clubs just to hit on women have it all wrong.
I'm pretty introverted so I don't normally randomly talk to people so being half drunk at a club is one of the easier ways to be outgoing for me :D Oh as a tip do pre-drinks. Never go straight to a club fully sober. That'll just burn through all your money

Japan has problem tho for sure.

My like top 5 favorite club experiences have all been at gay bars.
I really don't like going "clubbing" with my straight friends because I always feel uncomfortable and awkward.
But when I go with my gay friends it's super fun because I can just relax and goof off in the knowledge that when the other guys hit on me I can just go "Sorry I'm straight" and then continue relaxing and goofing off.
Gay guys are awesome, the world needs more of them.

I guess part of it is that I just don't care enough about meeting tons of new people.

Awkward and uncomfortable? I don't really get how that is different from going to a straight club. I guess it just depends on the club you go to and the atmosphere there.

Because when I go to straight clubs girls hit on me and it makes me uncomfortable and awkward.

I think my most hilarious club experience was when I was shopping at my local grocery story when some guy calls my name and hugs me asking how I'm doing. I had absolutely zero memory of this man yet we supposedly met at the club a few days prior where we had a crazy time. I'm still not sure if I did meet him or not but the things he said sounded pretty like me lol.

Gay guys are awesome, the world needs more of them. So what you're saying is, you're more comfortable with gay guys than women. "but i'm not gay, i swear!" isn't gunna cut it when you explain that to anyone.
|
I probably am more comfortable with gay guys than women lol.
It's pretty normal for people to assume I'm gay, it's been like that my whole life.
In fact, if I were gay, life would probably be a hell of a lot simpler. I'm not though, sad times.
