Maybe the show's setting hits too close to home for me to find any of it humorous. Parents moved to CA in early 90's from North Carolina. :/ I'mma give it a few more episodes before I decide to marathon it. Other asian friends said same thing. I did laugh at how the family's son wanted Lunchable's. Definitely been down that road before. To me it seems like a show ABC threw out there just to make asians/minorities happy, but will probably at best get like two seasons. IDK how many people here watched it, but if it was like the George Lopez Show, but with asians, I would be so happy. That show was amazing. I feel like if they did an honest take of real fob lifestyle back in the 90's it would be grossly offensive to everyone watching, rather than comedic. (although I'd definitely get a kick out of it). Also, it bugs the shit out of me how nice of neighborhood the family is set in compared to their actual financial situation. Every FOB I know live WAYYYYY below their means as a way to save as much capital as possible to move onto their next small business. No way a small business owning taiwanese family would ever spend that much money to live in such a nice neighborhood. Also, taiwanese parents sticking up for their kid after a school incident? ROFL. Same shit happened to my brother and I, lolololol we got are asses WHOOPED. lol.

We haven't really played much in a while, HF is trying to convince people to get it so we can mod and play 4 player. When we do play, it's usually evening USA time cuz I work.

There arelike 9 graves in the main city, if you get trolled by text telling you are you SURE? are you super duper really mega sure? U sur bro? then its not a good idea. everything else's consequences are okay-ish. divinity is a game you can slaughter everyone you run into and still finish the main quest.
