oh man a few years ago before I was a fulltime professional nerd I was a summer camp counselor and I remember having my kids sing the mario kart love song for a skit hahahahaha
it's a great song :D
Also I'm surprised that leblanc isn't taken by someone in this thread, I'm complete ass at this game but she seems like the kind of champ that other people would like lol
Decided to watch Fresh Off the Boat due to all the hype in the media. 5 mins in to the pilot, not impressed. The parents speak English far too well to be believable, also far too many pop culture references being made for a FoB family.
Maybe the show's setting hits too close to home for me to find any of it humorous. Parents moved to CA in early 90's from North Carolina. :/
Dude, this show is accurate in some places, but completely off in others. "don't make waves", lmao my mom said the exact same thing my first day before school.
then they did something as silly showing the family spending money on advertisement for their business. lmao. what a farce.

I'mma give it a few more episodes before I decide to marathon it. Other asian friends said same thing. I did laugh at how the family's son wanted Lunchable's. Definitely been down that road before.
To me it seems like a show ABC threw out there just to make asians/minorities happy, but will probably at best get like two seasons.
IDK how many people here watched it, but if it was like the George Lopez Show, but with asians, I would be so happy. That show was amazing.
