I close my eyes, open them a couple of minutes later and it feels like she's ever so slightly closer. I close my eyes again, and open them to the same thing. Fuck sakes man. What the fuck are you waiting for? Close my eyes again. If she's closer this time I'm going for it. Open my eyes... Her friend has woken up. She barges in and wakes her up. The whole house starts to stir. The moment is gone. We go home not long after. I give her a chaste hug and say we'll catch up sometime. Next week when I tried to make contact I found out she had a new boyfriend. I figure they might break up sometime. A few years later they're married. | ||

 . Got me hit with the feels. Sorry bro. Current town I'm in, been here living in a hotel for two months out of the last 4ish. Denny's is attached to the hotel so I spend most of my dinners there because I'm too lazy to drive anywhere. Sit up at the front counter that All Denny's have because it's easier to chat up the waitresses since they hover around there. Chatting up a few of them and between them one is actually a pretty cool chick. Fast forward to this week, my last week here for good. I took two weeks off during the holidays so it was the first time I had seen her in a while. Telling myself I'll get her number and we can meet up when she is down south near Vancouver. I sit down at the counter and she rushes towards me. "Omg! Rocky! Guess what I'm in engaged!!" "Wait what? You were single the last time I was here" "Yeah I know right, my best friend proposed to me on Christmas" "Your best friend? You mean your roommate you well telling me about?" "Yeah, I'm really excited" "Weren't you telling me how much he was getting on your nerves because he couldn't pay rent and wouldn't do any house work?" I mean, they gave KH block 4.5hours, and if 1.5 had won, they would have had around 2 hours of extra time since WR for that is 2:49:xx | ||
