I think it might be a subconcious thing where everyone used to just ignore me if I made a good argument but if I threw it an incisive comment they would reply. Just going to point out that in the vast majority of the arguments that get to this stage, you usually end up by yourself. If you think it's okay because this is an informal environment, and everybody else that bothers to engage in the discussion agrees with you, perhaps your misjudging the environment.

What do you mean on my own? Do you mean I always get the last word, that I'm the only one defending my side of the argument, or the same case but only one person defending the other side?
In the first case, that's just a case of the other person giving up. That doesn't necessarily mean anything because I could just be more stubborn but you'd expect if the point is argued to its fullest it wouldn't matter who got the last word.
In the second case, its a argumentative fallacy to assume that it means I'm wrong, and also to assume that I'm the only one who thinks as such. Since if I argue well enough there's no need to add anything else, or at least it might not be worth it.
In the third case then I don't see the problem.

Look, honestly I think you're at least a fairly intelligent individual. You're a good player, you do occasionally make good discussions like we are right now, and you can be very entertaining when the time is right. And I really would like to hold the respect for you that so many other people around here seem to have for you, but it can be pretty hard with the way you act sometimes. And you probably don't give a fuck about my respect (as most people don't), but I don't think that this is an unpopular opinion.

People will also often change tracks/attitudes depending on their situations/feelings. I had to do one for a class of mine last year and I didn't feel it accurately portrayed my personality at all. I think you're understanding of the system is limited to only that experience. The tests suck. I typed completely opposite in college from what I am after reading a few books. It can be limited by the test questions and also by other influences. You can answer questions dishonestly or answer it more of what you'd like to be.
It merely provides a framework for understanding people. People are different but we all have tendencies. It doesn't limit people to just that one type, you use all 8 polarities all the time but you have defaults. You need to give it a fair shot and do some reading and introspection.
