Ugh, EG played and drafted like shit that game:/

Mason should have been on Mirana, with Universe on Void. RTZ on something else would have been so much better as well, maybe PA and let him go ham?

It's like their 7th fastest of the event.

But ya, those damn Chinese teams playing slow Dota and whatnot.

430* Chronos, YYF's were godlike.

Universe is amazing, and Zai is fucking 16. That kid is going to be a star for a long time in Dota if he wants to be.

its funny because a sponsor bought EG a bottle of vodka and half the team can't legally drink it.

*Shivering Isles really best DLC*

And try not to get too hung up on the whole perfect level thing your first time, it'll kinda wreck the game

Enemy within for Xcom was an amazing DLC too.

EW was an expansion.

Aaaand there's me not caring about Dotter for a year.

I don't think so at all.

I think EG failed to DL VG. You gave them a similar comp in game 1 and got crushed because of a greedy draft. Game 3 you go even greedier with a mid alch and no wave clear and expect results to be different?

I'm going to bed. 38 hours of not sleep isn't fun but I had to see if Freedom would win atleast 1 thing this summer. Too bad we left it in the hands of some canadas.

@ketchup I totally agree. The translator is translating the words, but it just doesnt give rotk's conviction and emotions justice. I'm really glad I understand mandarin at times like this.

VG and NB have clearly been the most impressive teams at TI4 though, so this final is fitting given how the event itself has played out, even if it was only half expected coming into the tourney.

I think it's probably very important for the Chinese fans who have been rooting for a Chinese team to win TI for so long. DK's story is pretty bittersweet again. They couldn't pull through, and fell just a bit short. NB has an interesting storyline this TI4 as well. Their qualifiers weren't the best, but their bo3s play is pretty dominant.

I think this year's TI has been pretty amazing, but the format needs changing to give the viewers proper amount of time to appreciate how good some of the games have been. I wish Valve gave some real thought on proper spacing between all the games. Right now, there's so much rush that a lot of the great games in the qualifiers were essentially skipped due to fan favorites. I mean that's inevitable, but I wish there was a way for them to give each team proper coverage.

If we spaced them out any more we may as well just do it over the course of 1 month and call it the World Cup.

I would be ok with this. Dota world cup every 2 years. 5mil to first place.

I wouldn't complain at all if it were like that. The International being thought of as the "world cup of DotA" isn't so bad. I mostly just believe the teams/players need better treatment over the event. I think the amount of pressure on them must be ridiculous so I'd rather they have time to unwind, or at least have space to breathe in between games

I much prefer the compact nature of The International compared to how Riot spreads their World Championships over a month+. These two weeks of games have been highly entertaining, but I felt the Season 3 LoL finals just dragged on and the breaks in between games felt like artificial attempts to increase the hype. Maybe Dota could get away with it but for me it just didn't work with LoL.

they were saying that Shivering Isles the oblivion Expansion was the best DLC ever, so i brought up Enemy within.
