"Abuse" of high tier chars isn't what phases me. I just don't want to watch bad(as in less entertaining) matchups. There's tons of technical value at the highest level of basically every fighting game, doesn't make a matchup less ass(this is why people hate(d) ChrisG too, before they even knew he was the saltiest guy ever).
