The whole knock off and stock mechanic in melee ruins any sort of tension to me. give me a health bar any day. no one is worried about getting hit until a certain % and even then mostly just on the last stock. its kind of boring. its like watching an action movie when you went in for a drama. | ||

Would he have failed to grab the ledge if he didn't catch the turnip? One of my issues with Melee is that it's hard to see what move is being used and who's hitting who. Apparently a bunch of moves don't have hitstun so you can hit each other for awhile? UMvC3 tends to have clusterfuck, but apart from multiple supers being used at the same time you end up knowing which character uses what and you're able to make out what's happening most of the time (except when Dr. Doom and Magneto are involved, their models and some of their attacks are so alike. x_x) | ||
