GO AXE! Although I do want to see the winner of the 20xx bracket to advance.

I don't know if it's the match-up or the player but that seemed so stupidly one-sided. Very easy to send Nana flying, and once she's out the difference in % between Falco's hits and Popo's hits makes it painful to watch.
Only time I felt the match was tense was whenever Ice Climbers were ahead because it felt so fragile and frail, ready to get turned at any mistake. :< So yeah not exactly interesting. But then again I'm super biased, plus maybe it was a good player tooling on a lesser one.

they're all good alaric, this is top 8 lol

Fly doesn't wobble :< And I'm so torn on this match. I love Axe but I really want Silentwolf to advance because he hasn't shown a such good performance in a while.
Also it was the match-up, I would say PP is better than Fly over all, ICs have a pretty hard time against spacies w/o wobbling. Fly definitely had that pokemon stadium game but that messed up edge-guard cost him the game

Is it possible to punish/prevent a comeback on stage when Falco/Fox do that teleport thing? It seems like unless you dodge it and punish on recovery it's a super safe move.
That's why I said "lesser" and not "bad" Soniv.

Yeah, their hitbox is just behind their animation and a lot of moves stop it

yeah, it is possible, there's just a very small window to do so
you have to be careful against falco's side b though because it's a meteor smash (a spike that can be cancelled with an up b)

Geez melee is like the only competitive game i literally cannot watch without hating it.
messi was set up for the hypest moment in sports and blew it though.

I don't know any moves in Melee. Does that mean mid-teleport (or right at the end, removing the recovery) he can send you flying if you open yourself trying to prevent that comeback?

Y'know, somebody not knowing the scene and stumbling upon a murder of nerds chanting Pikachu while a guy with a cape and a plushy parades on a stage might get perplexed.
Damn that liquibet icon only serves as a reminder of how much I post whenever I scroll down a page.

If Falco hits you with his Illusion (the teleport), like if you are standing in his way and he goes over you, it sends you flying, but if you're not on top of the stage you go straight down
