I'm sure he's nothing great but I'm still curious because I was a huge fan of Ganondorf back in Melee. Brawl he got ruined haha. Actually for sake of convenience if you guys link a tier list for PM then I can go and answer all of my own questions. Also to my fellow 'Muricans: Happy Independence Day! To my fellow non-'Muricans: Happy Friday! What are everyone's plans for the weekend? He is better than melee dorf and equal/slightly relative better to where he was compared to top tier in melee. He still has really bad MUs. Low tier in PM is equal to mid tier in melee.

CustomRobo, aka best game ever. That was actually number 4 or something in the series, but the first one to show up in Murika. There was one other CustomRobo game released in the series, CustomRobo Arena for the 3DS, but it wasn't as good as the Cube version. I'm still eagerly awaiting a sequel.

Yeah, I found it online after some searching, now I just need to wait for my lazy brother to get up and see if he knows where the fuck it ended up...I thought I knew, but I didn't ![]() When I find it, though, I'll probably find my melee disc as well, so there is that, maybe.

I don't remember, I haven't played it in years, like 5+ >.< I just got the urge to play it, and I can't, since there isn't a store that has it within 100mi and I don't know where my copy went D: I did find Brawl, though.

The more you link this music the less I understand about this franchise. Is it a music series? Because I don't think I've ever seen anything Touhou related that's not music.

It's just the games are insanely popular for their music, so you can find arranges of pretty much any kind. If you're into trance, dance, dubstep, nightcore, they've got that too. I just tend to find most electronic remixes really, really bad because of how they "overload" the original melody with what amounts to just noise, instead of really putting a spin to it. There's also a ton of fan art, and fan games (parodies of Super Mario, of Robot Taisen, Captain Tsubasa, and original shooters and dungeon crawlers/RPG-like games), so it's easy to get lost in all the materials. Apparently they aren't that hard for shooters, it's just they rely on memory and identifying the patterns over sheer reflexes, so the screen is often loaded with slow-moving bullets instead of spamming fast-moving ones. It's got a story (more or less disconnected apart from reoccuring characters, until the more recent games) and some supplemental materials. I like the universe because ZUN (the guy who creates everything, after ~15 years he's almost decent at drawing now!) puts a lot of thought and symbolism in everything (names, outfits, patterns and names of the attacks, etc.) so everytime I check the wiki there's a bunch of stuff about Japanese folklore (and for the most recent games a bit about History and religion too) to be learn by random tidbits this way. Here's what it can look like (the boss, Utsuho Reiuji, based on a "3-legged crow" representing the sun in the folklore (and powers of fusion and fission as a result), literally shoots suns at you during some phases. Thought that may give you some TTGL vibes).

Alaric please make me a playlist of music for me to listen to while I play League. That music you post is too good. In all seriousness though, what's the name of the game? It's just Touhou 11 right? I wouldn't mind searching for more pieces of music myself. I don't actually expect you to make a playlist. But if you had any recommendations that'd be great! Edit: So I guess this is my 666th post. I should celebrate! + Show Spoiler +

![]() + Show Spoiler [wall of text about touhou music] + Some stuff at the start (not sure if accessible, it's the playlist "videos you like"). Favourites which ends up being a lot of touhou, since I use it for all these videos I wouldn't be able to recall the name (kanji and all that). Specifically folk touhou music. Another guy's playlist that I've added to mine. Note that there are a little number of uploaders who concentrate most of the uploads, so by following their names (Emiya's abode, bishamontenreturn, Pineappledisciple, etc.) you can find a bunch of music. If you're more into piano, marasy8 (much of his videos save for the most recent 15 or so) and kkcwkoh respectively play and upload piano renditions of touhou music. If it's the folk stuff in particular you like, you should check out Blackmore's Night (Richie Blackmore from Deep Purple and his wife) or the older stuff from Mike Oldfield, might suit your tastes. If you just want musics names, you can probably fish around with "touhou x stage y theme". There are several wikis (the old one was better than all of them when it came to listing the music but either it's not around or it's been massacred when they changed it into one of the current ones), for exemple for SA, but you'd need to look at the themes' names amidst the rest of the information. If you know a character or stage music you like, you can go to its page and the music tab will list some arranges. There are obviously a lot more than that (for the popular characters because there's too much to be found, for the lesser known because they aren't as popular so their arranges aren't as well-known) and I generally avoid doing this. There are also CDs that aren't related to the games. Stuff ZUN did, arranges from old themes, etc. some are tied to Touhou in general, others are more vague (Maribel Han and Renko are speculated to be somewhat tied to a character from the games but the narrative from the CDs doesn't refer directly to the games). There's a distinct style to every game (Subterranean Animism is more "pronounced", as in be it cheerful or oppressive it's more than usual, I find; Imperishable Night as a lot of trumpets, as do UFO; Perfect Cherry Blossom is pretty relaxed/melancolic compared to the rest, you can check out "Border of Life" and compare it to SA's "Nuclear Fusion" to see the contrast between the final bosses), and in general the stage themes are more relaxed, slow-paced (you're travelling a new place and get a feel for it while the boss themes are faster and more aggressive (confrontations and all that). Wow, wtf there are no arranges of Plain Asia out of piano ones. How come, that melody's amazing. ._.
