When I played FE7 I used arena chapters to grind my characters while training as many support conversations as possible. Two birds in one stone (also farming support for the content and not just on your main characters for the combat bonuses can be tedious; it's not hard, it just takes so much time, especially if you want to check if it unlocks new endings).
